LNER A4 "Mallard" - 4468

This is a recreation of the famous Mallard[en.wikipedia.org] steam locomotive done in its LNER Garter Blue livery as to it's current standards in the National Railway Museum in York, England.

Startup
  1. Ignite Firebox (Keep toggled on
  2. Raise firebox set temperature (Recommended 200°C)
  3. Set Piston Throttle to 1
  4. Set Steam Injector to 1
  5. Regulator Up
  6. Reverser Up
Ps: Cylinder C0cks should be pulled before movement for true realism!


Specifications
  • Steam Chest Pressure: Displays steam pressure of steam wheel pistons.
  • Steam Injector Gauge: Shows the steam pressure of the steam powered injector pump.
  • Steam Injector: Allows water to fill the boiler, steam pistons must be running (Keep boiler water around red line, Runs best when not full)
  • Cylinder C0cks: Should be drained (Set to 1) before moving, Changes steam from coming out by wheels (0 on throttle) when regulator applied to coming out smoke stack (1 on throttle) when regulator applied.
  • Pistons: Steam powered generator, powers pumps, etc.
  • Brakes: Brakes of the locomotive - Spawns at 1
  • Tender Brakes: Turn crank to raise/lower the brake pressure for the tender
  • Regulator: Controls steam flow to the reverser & therefore indirectly the wheels through the Reverser
  • Reverser: Throttle of the locomotive
  • Crank: (Located at end of steam wheels under cab) Moves train forwards or backwards when button directly below clicked
  • Whistle: Turn the valve above firebox for whistle.
  • Odometer: Tells you how many miles you have travelled.
  • Dump Steam: (Located under the forward steam wheels) Dumps the steam pressure in the wheel steam system

Very late reply @theoshuff but yes I know, It's been fixed now and the locomotive completely reworked from the ground up!

Not sure if you're aware. But the devs have removed Steam pressure from boilers, the logic node that was previously connected to it is now connected to fluid volume instead. This may cause some issues with anything related to pressure such as limiters
