In the year 1689, the Cepholnids, species of squid-like and octopus-like humanoids respectly called Inklings and Octolings first attempted their migration into the surface world. Although orginally peaceful and kind creatures, human civilization saw them as freaks and mockeries of the 'far superior' human, and slaughtered almost all of them, forcing them to return back to the depths of the oceans.
They have never forgotton.
Recently, a new species of Octoling, called the Blue-Ringed Octoling, has united the Cepholnids with the promise of restoring them to their rightful place.A century of overfishing, pollution, and the destruction of their natural habitat has angered them to the point that all Cepholnids agree: Humanity must be exterminated.
However, this will be no easy task. Human technology has vastly improved, with the mechanical breakthrough of firearms, improved hand-to-hand combat, and have fended off various plagues, including a zombie virus, a mysterious pathogen that turned people into vampires, mind-controlling parasites, a lethal virus that caused an increase in primate intelligence, out-of-control nanobots, and accidentally released bioweapons.
However, the Cepholnids' leader, the Blue-Ringed Octoling, has a special weapon up their sleeve: A special, mutagenic, symbiotic pathogen that is beneficiary to the Cepholnids, but lethal to mammals. Can you destroy humanity and finish what you started before the humans eradicate the Cepholnids once and for all?

I customized the crap out of the Shadow Plague, which was the best canidate for the scenario I had in mind. Blood rage is much stronger and a bit more cure research is required than normal, so feel free to try Brutal or Mega Brutal if you want. If Pravus is playing this, then I don't know what to say, except I really enjoy your videos and want to be an epidemiologist for my profession. And yes, this is based off Splatoon, with Inklings and Octolings and the like.
