Description
Babies props and crafts for RP. Biberon, wearable baby carriers, baby formula and nappies.
Monkey plush toy. Babies (and the Monkey plush) can be equipped as primary or secondary objects for extra cuteness.

What the Babies can do for me?

The Babies are for RP mainly. They don't spawn, and can't be foraged or crafted. If you play on an MP server the admins need to spawn them for you. This is to avoid incorrect "use" of the props.

The Babies can't die, no matter how hard you try.

The babies are still cute, but now they will cry and you need to feed them!

Babies need to be fed at least every 6 hours, otherwise they will start crying, attracting zombies. You can feed the children every 4 hours, but if you try to do it before 4 hours, the child will vomit.

The Baby item type is "alarm clock". Babies function like a watch marking the time and the alarm (when they will start crying if not fed). Unfortunately, this is the only solution I found to make the baby cry work.

Future developments:

  • babies crying will attract zombies
  • ability to feed babies to stop them from crying
  • option to "play" with the babies to make them stop crying and increase the character's happiness
  • trait "parent": interacting with a baby will affect your mood.

What this mod needs:

are diapers meant to weigh 1.0? That seems a little heavy for something so easily packed away irl. will they ever have a real use?

Would it be possible to make the Child and the German Shepherd wearable on either the left or right side? Right now, they can only be worn on the left, causing them to overlap if you wear both.

It would be cool if I could find babies spaw on houses, maybe could have a setting on sandbox, so we have less children spaw or more if people like, I'd like to be the setting very low like extra rare, so I could make a chalange like find save and adopt a kid on the gameplay. Would you think about doing that? Would be supper cool, anyway cool mod!

I can't seem to feed the baby anything other than formula. It says animal milk but cow milk from a carton added to the baby bottle doesn't work.

And more ideas: You could choose to create clothes for babies and children. You could also perhaps provide food for children, and more toys for children and babies.

Hey! I love your mod; my best gameplay is playing with it. I'd like to ask, do you have any ideas for making the babies grow? Or maybe a trait to start pregnant and then spawn one after a while? It would be really cool if they could move too, interact with toys or other items, but I have no idea how difficult that would be, so just an idea.

The mod is amazing, I’m excited for more updates! I did notice a small sound issue, though: when taking care of a baby, the person holding it hears the start of the crying sound over and over, mixed with the feeding sound, while people nearby hear multiple babies crying at the same time. I’d also love if it was possible to change the baby’s clothes. Thank you!
