About
It replaces the entire Xen soundtrack with tracks by Kelly Bailey and Chris Jensen (the composer of Opposing Force and Blue Shift) without any repetition or silence instead of the music. Also all in-game track loops are preserved.
The addon uses tracks from Half-Life 1, Opposing Force and Mishaps in the Reactor Chamber. The last thing is a set of unfinished/unused music made by Chris Jensen that was meant to be used in Opposing Force, Blue Shift, Counter-Strike, and maybe in Half-Life 2 Beta. With this set I managed to replace every Xen track with it's old school counterpart.
Check the video btw, it demonstrates every music moment.

I recommend using it with my collection for the full experience

@Ultimis you can just extract the vpk using gcfscape and delete the credits music from the created folder

to be honest. it sounds more pleasant to the ears in the gonarch fight. and the conveyor ride, the starting world track and the dimensionless track sound nice to the ears aswell. its nice to take a break from all the AOWAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO AUH.

@KelpTheGreat to re-experience the game in a different way. It's actually intended to be used with other HL1-themed mods, otherwise it would be kinda pointless.

I love the Black Mesa OST, I don't know why anyone would want to replace it. If this added additional music then I'd be interested, but I don't want to outright replace the music that's intended to be in the game.

In '99, Kelly Bailey released this, Xen, their most accomplished album. I think their undisputed masterpiece is "Triage at Dawn", a song so sad, most people probably don't listen to the lyrics.

eh if you only released it couple weeks earlier, i just beat the whole game and i got a bit of a whiplash from having the original ost in pre xen levels and then returning to the very generic black mesa ost
