Description
Allows Better Storage System storages to be upgraded.

For those who prefer a QOL approach to storages, you can now upgrade the different storages from T1 through T5 without having to deconstruct and rebuild to a higher tier each time.

For changes to take effect after an upgrade you need to SAVE and then LOAD that save.

Please Note:
  • If you were previously using the base Better Storage System without this patch, your different tier storages may look out of place since all tiers share the same size now. You can use the Shift + F12 menu to manually move them.
  • It goes without saying but just in case; you will miss out on the various different storage sizes per tier, this is because when you upgrade the storage it would increase in size which may not be ideal as it might cause clipping. So all tiers were made the same size to prevent this issue from happening.

Load AFTER Better Storage System.mod for changes to take effect.

@[PIGZ]MrTango: Smart! I initially had it like that, but then didn't want to impose on people's creativity to build wherever they'd like. I want to believe someone will have constraint to not do so, but hey, RPG amirite?! :lunar2019crylaughingpig: I hope it is coming in handy in your adventures though!

Maybe the higher tiers that exceed ceiling height could be outside only? :beeped:

@[PIGZ]MrTango: Play around with tier I, III, and V, the latter barely fits in a shack. :lunar2019crylaughingpig: I know what you mean though, but I doubt many would have cared or even used the higher tiers, just glad we can have increased storage for the hoarders among us!

Would be cool if the upgraded tiers were like stacked higher to look bigger.

@thecheeselover: See in bold in the description, 3rd line: For changes to take effect after an upgrade you need to SAVE and then LOAD that save. Some inventory sizes do increase, gradually, the full list is linked on the original mod page.

I am able to upgrade storages, but the stack sizes remain the same. Also, I don't know if inventory sizes are supposed to increase either, but, just to be clear, they don't.

@Salty Oreos: Yes, because the storage sizes would grow in size as a result. Meaning you'd have clipping issues if you placed storages neatly next to each other. Different scale storages is the main appeal of BSS, having you decide between form over function. This is just here for people who don't like balance or realism.
