starbound used lag so much with 420+ mods
with this mod it only stutters for a .3 second witch really helps me
it unlocks the fps limit on starbound in turn should speed up the game
i'm not sure if there be issues from this but seems to work fine for me

also safe to uninstall mid game or install mid game no loss of data

IF THE GAME RUNS TO FAST LIMIT THE FPS TO 60 I DO NOT KNOW WHAT PROGRAMS
ARE OUT THERE YOU HAVE TO FIND ONE AND SHARE IT IN THE COMMENTS!
NVIDIA Control Panel is one of them

these other items is just a suggestion to also fix the FPS to get the most out of starbound

I uninstall the mod and get about 15 more fps. xD

I have less than 10 mods and I'm getting constant 40fps with 1 second long stutters once every 5 seconds. And the game refuses to use more than 3% of my gpu or cpu.

i got around 570ish mods and i get around 60 as well

most likely not as this was made to edit some of the settings in OldBound
oSB has it's own fps tweaks to fix stuff i would also say 60ish fps is good for StarBound trying to push any higher with a heavy modded game would be hard

i have only used it on windows as my linux build i use OpenSB

didnt work on Arch Linux x86_64 with kernel 6.6.64-1-lts using KDE 6.2.4 wayland, using Ryzen 9 5900HX and RTX 3050 Ti M.
menu opens, but game crashes when i load character
also the fps is still locked in the main menu
