MV Odyssey

Description
OMTII (LLC) never had much of a market back on Earth, and more-so on Europa. So for them to release such an ambitious prototype was very unexpected. It was even rumoured that their original prototype went missing.
The original product announcement went along as follows:

"The Motor Vessel Odyssey is a full-sized submarine with more than the essentials. The Odyssey offers crew quarters which share showers, a toilet and laundry facilities. The Captain and second in command have their own private facilities, A high capacity multi-level storage deck allows the Odyssey to travel with cargo that amounts to your heart's content. Power generation won’t ever be a problem, the Odyssey is fit with the same reactors you would see on large outposts. With fully outfitted security measures, thought-out contingency countermeasures and various features designed around comfort, the Odyssey is guaranteed to change the minds of many, as this submarine will really turn heads"

This passage goes on, continuing to describe key features and other selling points.
The reception for the submarine didn't take off, and the high starting price was more than most Europeans were willing to dish out for someone new to step on the scene.
Its massive size didn’t help either, making it difficult to navigate some tighter passages and routes. Many people like referring to this submarine as an "outpost", mostly due to its size and range of facilities uncommon to normal submarines.
With a high power consumption, the costs of fuel will also tally up. To counter this, OMTII fully stocked the submarines to help lighten the financial blow for their customers.

Very few units sold and many of them have been converted into outposts, research vessels, resorts and large transporters. Some have been stripped down and put back together to make travel more efficient and cost-effective, others decided to sell parts they didn’t need dragging them down.
The Coalition considered making a contract with OMTII to manufacture various specialised versions for research and other official use, however, this was quickly scrapped, and nothing was herd of it after the initial proposal.
After the limited production had been sold off, OMTII continued to work on restorations of abandoned Beacon Stations and the manufacturing of their B38 RACON Transponders alongside other technologies.
