Description
Campaign sub for the serious or roleplay styles. This submarine has been fully armed for campaign or PVP using the latest turrets and nuclear torpedos. Yes. A nuclear torpedo.

The Type II E-Boat was designed by a lunatic who spent too much time in DCS flying the Mig-21. This obsession with status lights, manually toggled relays, switches and displays results in a sub-simmer's dream or a casual's nightmare. Double hulls, damage control features and redundancy gives this submarine the ability to recover from nearly anything and finish the mission. All of this survivability comes at a cost of complexity and some automated features of other death-trap designs are replaced by manual decision-making for the damage control player. This submarine is not designed with the usual Barotrauma metas in mind.

Captain: Enjoy multiple periscope views through the wireless channel button, a general quarters alarm, and the ability to disable all external lights for stealth running.
Security: Cycle between turrets from one periscope using the channel button. Your secure arsenal is at the nuclear torpedo control terminal.
Medical: Enjoy a medical facility stocked with the raw materials to make the medications you need and a hospital ward equipped with a call button. Your own deconstructor feeds materials to local storage.
Engineering: Engage power to ship compartments using the toggles at the top of the power distribution board. The lever at the computer terminal opens and closes the reactor access door remotely. Keep griefers out of the reactor with this lever, or flood the reactor compartment with the adjacent toggle to extinguish fires.
Mechanics: Process mined materials in the deconstructor right next to the mining airlock. Your fabricator is just up the ladder below the other airlock, where floodwater won't constantly ruin your work. Lock or unlock ballast tank hatches with nearby levers and appreciate the double hull's protection from outside threats.
Assistants: Lay in one of many bunk beds.

You will find hundreds of hours were put into this submarine. It is not a flawless diamond, nor was it ever intended to be one. It is a level within a level; its own challenge to be overcome. I hope you enjoy it.
