Crayfish Medevac

Description
Basic hydrogen thrust twin-cryotube medical evacuation vehicle, designed to operate around the summits of Triton's tallest peaks. Capable of operating on planet or in space. Features autopilot blocks to fly rapidly home to base and then to dock using the rear connector. Equipped with ExcavOS for alignment and thrust to weight monitoring.

There is currently no DLC-free alternative edition.

This was designed and built in a survival game (with no use of creative tools) to fit with a chosen play style, where hydrogen is used as the principal fuel for all ships and vehicles while hydrogen gas can only be produced on a static grid. As a result, this vessel is NOT self-sufficient. It does have an emergency parachute system should the pilot misjudge the amount of fuel remaining.

Setting up the autopilot
================================
1. Dock with the connector that you wish to use as a home (base or ship)
2. If you are using a ship, add the beacon to the on-board Recorder block
3. Unpark using toolbar 1 action 5, then start recording mode on the Crayfish AI Recorder (Task) Dock
4. Slowly depart the connector in a forwards direction at first, then fly slowly to record the path away from the dock
5. Open the recorder block, and without selecting any waypoints, reverse the waypoints
6. Remove any actions that were recorded against the waypoints
7. Move to a suitable arrival point (50m above planet surface, clear of structures) and set a GPS marker
8. Add the GPS marker to the Crayfish AI Basic (Task) Rendezvous
9. Assign the Crayfish Timer Block Switch Mode / Trigger action to that waypoint

You can now auto-dock using toolbar 3 action 5.

Getting to space with minimum fuel use
================================
Switch the Event Controller on using toolbar 6 action 1. Level the craft and hold the space bar to climb vertically up into space. The thrusters will be pulsed in order to save fuel whilst maintaining a high speed.
