a CRAZY amount of fun. feel the thrill of an impenetrable defense that gets cheesed by someone targeting the back row of it, but now YOU are on the attacking side.
Feel your blood boil as the odour of old tacos gives you an accurate representation of what it would be like to fight your crazy friendly crazy neighbour. But be careful: the Power of Microtransactions is on his side...

Honestly don't know why the steam workshop uploader uploaded your mod with an incomplete modfiles.txt, but it could be because you tried to upload your mod with the original project.xml (the one called "craziest_collector.xml") in the mod's folder? Try moving it somewhere else and then updating your mod that way.

Still very new to modding, so any help and pointers are appreciated! What can I do to fix it globally?

Somehow I haven't encountered the Collector until now but...
The mod doesn't work quite right for me due to modfiles.txt being incomplete, only having the collected hwm's idle sprite replaced. I fixed it for myself, but just thought I'd let you know.

That sounds like a fun idea! I have no idea if I'll ever be able to mod it well enough for that, but still XD also I think I might have the wrong file directory, I wasn't sure if just using the monster directory would work since there's multiple enemies that get changed, if that's not the problem I probably need to change the way it implements the mods. any tips?

Also, just a heads up, it didn't seem to work. Perhaps you have the wrong directory listed in your sample project file?
