the commandos are by what i have seen a very unique class. instead of normal plasma weapons, they are armed only with torpedos with a high rate of fire and some defensive lasers. while it may seem like a major challenge to play them, they are actually quite balanced. firstly, you do not have to worry about energy with them. secondly, they high rate of fire will penetrate even the most guarded ships. the only trouble that you will have (and i like this because it makes reassembly challenging) will be aiming. turn off auto- aim or else you will never kill anything that moves quickly. all the torpedos have rotatable turrets.
