Description
Want better weapons? Want other guns to be effective instead of just the Silenced SMG and AK47? Want the grenade launcher to delete tanks rather than being weaker than most weapons? Want the mounted machine gun not overheating so fast? Well, this is the mod for you. In this mod the statistics of the guns will be changed to make all of them useful but with different strengths.

Some of the changes are in the form of mutations within the Balanced Weapons Plus addon, that way you won’t have conflicts by changing base game scripts.

Thing to note: this will only work in a local host, like always. Also, everyone who wants to play needs to have the mod installed or else it will eventually crash or they might not be able to join to begin with.



General Changes
All guns now have a limit to how far the bullets will go after going through infected. They also have a small range where penetrations will have full damage, so they are more effective at eliminating surrounding infected.



Pistols
  • The pistols have lower movement spread and higher DPS than the Magnum.
  • A single pistol can be fired almost immediately after switching to it.
  • The magnum has slightly less damage falloff than the pistols, as well as slightly better minimum spread.



SMGs
  • 50 less reserve bullets.
  • The Uzi has higher DPS than before and less spread when moving.
  • The Silenced SMG has less damage loss after penetration.
  • The MP5 has the highest accuracy of the SMGs.



Rifles
  • Rifles now penetrate 3 layers instead of 2.
  • The M16 now has higher DPS than the AK47 but lower sustained DPS (when taking reloading into account) due to its smaller magazine. Faster fire rate.
  • The SG552 has the fire rate of the M16 but less movement spread and more DPS. Its effective range is also higher.
  • The SCAR has less spread per shot, so the burst is more precise. Also has increased spread decay and a longer range.
  • The AK47 has slightly lower DPS and spread recovery, but bullets deal more damage after penetration than other guns.



Shotguns
  • Shotguns have a much tighter pellet spread, dealing significant damage to targets farther away as long as the spread is controlled.
  • The pump shotgun and auto shotgun have higher damage but less accuracy, making them more ideal to deal with hordes.
  • The chrome shotgun and SPAS have higher accuracy and reduced pellet spread, so they are more effective at longer ranges. Their spread is also more vertical than horizontal.
  • Tier 1 Shotguns have better accuracy than Tier 2.



Sniper Rifles
  • Sniper rifles no longer have infinite penetration (but still have the highest), have reduced accuracy recovery and higher movement penalties.
  • Less reserve ammo.
  • The hunting and military rifles had their damage slightly reduced.
  • The scout rifle had its damage buffed while the AWP had a significant increase.
  • The scout was turned into a tier 1 weapon.
  • The scout and AWP have lower movement spread and more penetration layers compared to the other two snipers.



Grenade Launcher
  • Its clip size has been increased to 6.
  • The grenade’s damage and radius has been increased, able to kill a charger in a direct hit. (These changes are only present on the Balanced Weapons Plus mutations.)

      M60
      • Increased DPS and spread recovery.
      • Has the highest bullet distance after penetration.
      • Has a reduced clip of 100 bullets, but with Balanced Weapons Plus it can be reloaded as it now has reserve ammo.
      WARNING: Do not let it go empty unless you have a script that makes the gun not automatically drop when empty. A mod I recommend for this is Left 4 Fun. That's it, but take a look at Balanced Weapons Plus for other changes only made by it. Hope you enjoy it and comment any changes you would like. I’ll take them into consideration.
      Mod Incompabilities
      This mod is incompatible with "Legacy Muzzle Effects".

Xeinky, no puse que la M60 se pudiera recargar con las pilas de munición. En su lugar cuando juegas a la mutación o utilizas los comandos que puse en la descripción de Balanced Weapons Plus la M60 tendrá munición de reserva cómo el resto de las armas que puedes recargar.

Gracias y tengo una duda, como se hace para que la M60 se recargue, yo le doy a las cajas de munición y no se recarga

La magnum penetra las mismas capas que las pistolas, lo que equivaldría a poder matar dos infectados uno detrás de otro con el mismo tiro. Lo especial que siempre ha tenido es que siempre mata los commons de un tiro.
