Following in-game instructions
If you play the game for the first time, we recommend you to follow in-game instructions, complete first tutorial quests, visit Frank & Ron and complete their quests. It should be helpful for the beginning.

Tips
There are many equipment in the game like waist bags, backpacks, chest armors, shoulder armors, melee weapons, firearms, hats, helmets.. You can find it in the world, loot it from dead bodies or buy it from traders.

You have two persistent piece of gear: jacket and pants. They are never dropped when you die. Keep it in mind, when you manage your inventory.

A waist bag and a small backpack are the basis for easier survival, because you can carry, for example, a crossbow or another heavier weapon in the backpack. Obtain them as soon as possible.

The world around you is filling with a random content by the time. Pay attention to it and you will get essential items faster.

At the beginning, we recommend building a stone stash (small storage) somewhere near the traders, where you can store things for later use.

Build a mattress in the area where you plan to operate for a while. It allows you to set a spawn point. If you die, you will spawn right on the mattress instead of being dropped in the middle of nowhere.

Listen to NPCs, they can tell you an useful information or have a job (quest) for you.
