Humanity is on its last legs, at least on this side of the planet. Not because of some zombie virus or rouge militia. I can't recall exactly why, but it had something to do with a war, based off the scattered tank wrecks. Does it really matter why now?

Your biggest threats aren't other people, quite the opposite in fact, but food, water, shelter, and warmth. There isn't much left to scavenge, so search as best as you can.
