I have updated to a MK3 design that provides ease of use and improves handling. Take off altitude is no longer a factor in taking off with Jupiter.

You can taxi on the ground with W and S until you take off, you can hold down the UP and DOWN arrow keys to change your altitude. It may have issues taking off from high altitudes, but it will eventually take off if you keep holding UP. You can also use the alt hold system to take off faster by inputting your current altitude + 10 metres. I am currently working on a MK3 that automates the take off process, while also retaining the taxi capability.
