SC1 Vulture (scriptless, vanilla, no DLC)

It's all good! Just started playing and learning about things so thanks for explaining, there's a plug in that fortunately makes it work pretty flawlessly, so I was able to build it!

Ah. Yeah. That is normal. Space Engineers does not let you project subgrids on a blueprint and the front part of the vehicle uses a hinge. So if you build things like tanks with custom turrets on rotors or God forbid, ever decide to build something complex like a battlemech. You will have to project each subgrid part seperately. That is just part of the game mechanic. Sorry about that. :(

Atleast in survival it wont let me project it, says cant load multiple grids, supposedly there a mod that can fix this issue so ill try that and report back

That's weird. I'm not using anything beyond vanilla parts. I'll have a look later on.
