Make Ammo From Manufactured Resource

Description
This mod adds a few ammunition factories that use manufactured construction materials rather than raw ore, giving excess steel and such in career mode some use. The blueprints must be purchased in career mode before they can be used.

Currently Includes
  • Ammo Factory (Steel):
    1 Steel -> 10 Ammo
    Does not explode when destroyed.
  • H.E. Missile Factory (Steel & Ammo):
    1 Steel, 20 Ammo -> 20 HE Missile Parts
  • E.M.P. Missile Factory (Steel & Coil):
    1 Steel, 1 Coil -> 20 EMP Missile Parts
  • Nuclear Missile Factory (Steel & Enriched Uranium):
    12 Steel, 1 Enriched Uranium -> 240 Nuclear Missile Parts
  • Mine Factory (Steel & Ammo):
    1 Steel, 20 Ammo -> 20 Mine Parts

FAQ
Q: I don't like some of the values! Any way to change that?
A: I made this mod in a way that the values can be changed easily without needing to know much about modding. Head to the mod files directory and edit "stats.rules". It should be straightforward once you made it there.

Q: I don't like some of the factories. Would you mind splitting them into small mods?
A: Feature toggle isn't a thing in Cosmoteer modding yet. Before the developers to add it, you may opt to head to the mod files and edit mod.rules to comment out the entries of unwanted factories.

Q: Can you please make a factory that turns ____ and ____ into ____?
A: If I am about to use that myself I will consider.

i like this mod, but if i knew how, i would make emp use HE Missile parts and coil instead of steel since its basically a conversion recipe.

The original solution is to recycle steel sheets in a crusher, and it is quite extreme to put a combat shell in the crusher. Wouldn't it be more logical to take the hyperspiral factory as a basis, where not ore, but finished products are used. Even though it's a game, it's also desirable to act logically.

I can see good use of this mod in the future, when dev makes different ammo types for cannons like AP, so we mix diamond and sulfur to make them. Or uranium + steel for nuclear shells lmao

Not sure what have you encountered, but these are new factories, they do not change original factories.

I thought this would add steel as requirement alongside the sulfur in the recipe. Could this be added, please? It's silly ammo only needs sulfur.
