Which Version is Right for You?

We offer three distinct tiers of economic difficulty. Choose the one that best fits your playstyle, available time, and desire for a challenge.

Classic Edition (This Mod):

Best for: Casual players, newcomers, or those with limited playtime.

The Experience: A standard, satisfying career progression. You'll be challenged, but you can realistically reach high levels, unlock advanced skills, and build a large company without an enormous time investment.

Hardcore Edition:

Best for: Dedicated players who want a truly rewarding long-term career.

The Experience: Extends the career progression significantly. Reaching the highest levels and unlocking the best loans and skills will take considerable time and strategic planning.

Extreme Edition:

Best for: The most patient simulation veterans who want a true long-haul career experience.

The Experience: A truly grueling and unforgiving economy. Your skill progression is drastically slowed to simulate a 25-year career, requiring absolute dedication.

The wait is over! We are thrilled to announce that the Dynamic Freight Market (DFM) is now a core feature in our economy mods for both Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator. This multi-layered system transforms the in-game economy from a static list of jobs into a living, breathing world that responds to the time of year and simulated economic conditions.

The goal of the DFM is to create a challenging and immersive experience where the "best cargo to haul" is constantly changing, forcing you to adapt your strategy like a real-world trucker.

Key Features of the Dynamic Freight Market

The DFM is built on several interconnected systems that work together to create a cohesive simulation.

Dynamic Cargo Rates (DCR): The price you are paid for cargo is no longer fixed. Rates will now fluctuate based on the season, leading to premium pay for off-season goods and lower rates during a market glut.

Dynamic Supply System (DSS): The availability of jobs will change realistically throughout the year. You will experience seasonal booms where certain industries are desperate for drivers, and shortages where finding a specific type of cargo becomes a genuine challenge.

Dynamic Economy Parameters (DEP): Beyond individual cargoes, the entire economic climate of the game world will shift. The market can become "Busy," "Sluggish," or "Booming," affecting overall job availability and pay rates across the board.
