Fate/EXTELLA LINK | 100% Achievements Guide

For a silly (and slightly overpriced) anime video game, its seriously good. So I 100% it. Thats why I want to help you, potential reader, in achieving the same thing as I did.

Before the actual guide
For those who wonder. Fully completing the game takes at best 43 hours, so prepare to be as patient as possible. Oh and this is the achievement you want to get in the end:

Conqueror of the Moon
Acquired all other Trophies.

And for the possible questions about doing the same style of guide for the Umbral Star (original Extella), not right now. Main reason is that its overpriced and its twice as long as the LINK.
Without further ado, lets begin with the actual guide:

Story Related Achievements
There are 13 of them in total, and they require you to beat certain day or stage:

Meet Charlemagne
Viewed the event in which Charlemagne first appears.

A New Battle Begins
Cleared Day 1.

Commence Counterattack
Cleared Day 2.

An Alliance Gathers
Cleared Day 3.

Victory Cleared
Stage 9 or 10.

Facts about Facsimiles
Cleared stage 13 or 14.

St. Metropolita Decanonized
Cleared Stage 15 or 16.

The Journey
Cleared Stage 18 and viewed the ending.

The King of Knights Attacks
Cleared Stage 11.

Fading Illusions
Cleared Stage 19 and viewed the ending.

You Sound Trustworthy
Chose to listen to Archimedes.

If it isn't obvious by looking at the stage select, replay Day 2 (I haven't tested if playing only the dialogue section after the battle does the same, so don't take me for granted.)

Until the Day We Are Rebooted
Cleared Stage 27 and viewed the ending.

That would have finished this section if not for one other achievement related (attached to difficulty but still):

Awesomest Day Ever!
Cleared Stages 1 through 27 on Very Hard.

To be honest with y'all, "Very Hard" in the title is just to scare you. I have beaten the Very Hard with Jeanne d’Arc, and only Game Over'ed like 5 times. My best guess for you is to use the most OP servant you want (Lancelot, Scathach, Cu, La Shuwen, as you wish really). I only used Jeanne because I wanted to prove myself that "Yup, it's possible" and it was. Enough said, let's get to another section:
Extra Stages Achievements
If I said right now that "those are just main stages with higher difficulty" then I wouldn't have been even lying. The fact that there's so many of them makes this section of the game more grindy than fun, but no one has said that these were supposed to be fun. The following achievements are:

The Extra Beginner
Cleared one Extra Stage.

The Extra Warrior
Cleared eight Extra Stages.

The Extra Expert
Cleared 16 Extra Stages.

The Extra King
Cleared 24 Extra Stages.

The Extra Hero
Cleared 32 Extra Strages.

The Extra Conqueror
Cleared all Extra Stages.

I Praise Your Bravery!
Defeated two bosses in the "EX: Facsimile Fortress Nightmare" stage.

I personally started the Extra Stages with the last one, and slowly progressed (or regressed) toward the easiest ones. And you may ask "Why?". Because the stages that recommend you the 150 level of your servant are the most profitable in XP. The last one isn't even that hard.
Bond Related Achievements
Just For You
Earned a Mystic Code for strengthening a bond or clearing a stage.

Costume Hunter
Earned three Mystic Codes for strengthening bonds or clearing stages

Fun Fact: This achievement (probably) references the fact that you can get up to 5 costumes for your servants, including:
  • Black Knight’s Battle Gear for Charlemagne;
  • Rose Idol for Nero Claudius;
  • Police FOX for Tamamo no Mae;
  • Base Red Mystic Code for Nameless;
  • Silver Armor for Gawain.

Comrade
Raised a Servant's Bond level to MAX.

The Best Master
Raised three Servants' Bond levels to MAX.

Only 4 Bond related achievements aren't even sounding that bad, but wait until the end, where the make their biggest comeback just to ruin your day...

Because the game doesn't really want you to know the Mysterious MAX Bond level, I will tell you. It's 30. If I can be the helper in this situation then the best I can do is recommend you repeat the "Duel!" Extra Stage.

Whether you will do it before the end of the game, or after, it doesn't really matter. Personally I did it after the game.
"Meet certain conditions in one stage" Achievements
Easiest ones to be honest, most of the time you will forget you have earned them because they require you to do things you will do anyway. Plus there are only 4 of them, so it's a no-brainer that you have them already.

Violent Moonstorm
Activated Moon Drive four times in one stage.

Multiple Noble Phantasms?!
Used a Noble Phantasm twice in one stage.

Rush Hour
Executed 8 Rush Attacks in one stage.

Who Is the One that Can Kill Me?
Gained 1000 KO's in one stage.

Servant Restricted Achievements
"Defeat X as Y" is the best thing I can say about those

We're Lancers on the Moon, We Carry a Harpoon
Defeated Scathach as Cu Chulainn.

Destined Duel
Defeated Karna as Arjuna.

A True Hero Kills With His Eyes
Used Karna's "Oh Brahma, Cover the Earth" or "Oh Brahma, Split the Earth" skills.

As easy as it sounds, it's either bugged or mistranslated by the guys who localized the achievements. It says that you have to "Use" the skill, which is half of the truth. What you are supposed to do is defeat a servant with one of those skills.

I'm a Mile High and I'm the Scariest
Defeated Iskandar as Darius III.

Arrrthurrr!
Defeat Artoria as Lancelot.

With the easier achievements out of the picture, I can introduce you to the most time consuming ones.
Install Skills Achievements
The easiest of the worst

Item Workshop
Combined two Install Skills.

Item Workshop Expert
Combined two combined Install Skills.

This might be confusing for people who have no idea what does that even mean, so let me say it quickly. You unlock skill combining after Stage 27. Install Skills are grouped by rank: Normal, Alpha (α), Sigma (Σ) and Combined (White). From my knowledge, you get Sigma skills if the level is recommending you to be at 100 level or higher. If you want to combine said skills, you need to have 10 of them (it's the max number of them per one orb)

Threshold Upgrade
Maxed out an Install Skill.

Easy, get 10 copies of any Install Skill.

Skill Collector
Unlock 100% of the Install Skills.

Grind the harder levels, (Very Hard difficulty or Extra Stages with +100 recommended level), don't make duplicates of the Combined Skills (in the right bottom there's an input that tells you if you created said skill) and this will be less stressful than the ones that I'm going to cover in the sections below.

Mystic Codes Achievements
I hate Mystic Codes, because I'm not using them, unless the Bond mission tells me to do it. For half of the game I have been using the standard "Starting Battle Gear" Mystic Code and it was enough to deal with the game's not-so-challenging difficulty. But this is not about my experiences with Mystic Codes, so let's get moving:

Battle Preparations Complete
Crafted a Mystic Code.

Mystic Code Maniac
Unlock 100% of the Mystic Codes.

For the context, there are only two of them because the other two are in the Bond Related section, but it isn't really because I said so, and let me explain it real quick. There are two ways to get Mystic Codes: EX rank on every stage(or Extra Battle with the same name as the story stage) and Bond raising, no "OR". You have to do those two things to get 100% and it's frustrating to say the least. This guide would have been stupidly long if I included here every possible Mystic Code that you can get in the game, so I will do something more resourceful and link the guide on gamefaqs[gamefaqs.gamespot.com] that tells this better than I would have did.

And last but not least, the grand finale of this guide,
Gallery Achievements
Remember when a couple of sections earlier I said that Bond will make its big comeback? It did, and it's worse than you think

Chronicles of Charlemagne: Vol. 1
Unlock 25% of the Gallery.

Chronicles of Charlemagne: Vol. 2
Unlock 50% of the Gallery.

Chronicles of Charlemagne: Vol. 3
Unlock 75% of the Gallery.

Chronicles of Charlemagne: Compendium
Unlock 100% of the Gallery.

About the Bond I said earlier (again), it's required to get that sweet 100% of the Gallery. Why? Because not only do you have to get all Mystic Codes related to certain classes of servants by Bonding, but you need to see all of their Bond Conversations in both "My Room" and "Barracks". As I have said in the previous sections, spam the "Duel!" Extra Stage for those precious Bond levels. You can complete one go of that extra stage in 1 minute and 30 seconds, 2 minutes at worst.

Another Fun Fact: The game doesn't tell you that one of the Nameless conversations is restricted to the player being a female, and one Gilles is probably too restricted to some criteria (gamefaqs doesn't really told me to what, so you either figure it out randomly, as I did, or you will desperately try anything). To counter the first one, you need to go to the settings and change your gender to female, simple as that.

And that's about it
Thanks for reading this, or at least trying to. There might be some broken english in this guide (and I'm not gonna apologize for that) which shouldn't really take the sense out of the things I have said + it's my first guide like that (and probably the last, because in any other game it would have taken forever to cover half of the things).

If you don't want to read this guide because of reasons im not so sure about, then read this wonderful gamefaqs[gamefaqs.gamespot.com] guide made by the GOAT Wilancer (which helped me with Mystic Codes completion).

And of course, don't be a cheap ass and buy the game:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/622220/FateEXTELLA_LINK/
Its story is short, but it's a really good Anime Action Hack-n-Slash game.

And thanks again for reading this.

Bro studied at Fate/Extella Link academy. Thank you so much for the kind words and for actual tips I have never even know about until now (like the exp grinding since I had it at 150 while beating Very Hard with Jeanne d'Arc as stated above) or some that I have forgotten (like the Archers Talisman. Really appreciate the feedback it received since I didnt knew people are still willing to play this game, let alone 100% it.

Yea i remember one time i took i believe Karna to a one of the top extra levels and got like 30 levels before getting one shotted by a fellow servant, and the only grinding i'd had to do was like 4-5-6 more servants so i farmed the Medusa bossfight in the extra level which took a hour or two.

Let me start by saying that this is an amazing guide. It got me through what can sometimes be a slog of a game. The game is certainly worthwhile, especially if you are a fan of the Fate series. This guide does a very clear job of letting you know what the best ways to get everything done are and it's really appreciated.

I just wanted to add a couple tips I found during my own play through of the game.
1) The best stage I found to grind for exp is the second to last one as well with the 3 maidens of the moon, I even did it as early as level 58 or so with a lot of increased damage to servants + regen. Start off with Offensive Install Skills and as you level up you can use EXP boosting ones to make it easier.
Animexster 2 Jul @ 4:08pm
2) Always pay attention to what servants you are taking on your mission. Some of the missions can double up and increase the efficacy of your grinding. (Use 4 code casts is usually the easiest) I didn't really find myself going back to missions in order to grind bonds but that was probably due to the level grind.

3) As previously mentioned, even Very Hard is not that challenging but it still makes for a fun game. You don't actually have to beat the whole stage on the difficulty for it to count. (I believe it is start at base) You can start from the second option every time and it will still count towards the achievement.

4) There is only one Mystic Code that is Difficulty based and that is "Archer's Talisman" which requires an A rank or higher on Mission 21 Very Hard Difficulty.

If you do go for this Gold Ribbon I hope you have a ton of fun with it and thanks once again to Matiz for this guide

Its definitely time consuming judging by how many times you have to replay certain stage (duel) for the fastest bond leveling. And the fact that max bond is 30, and its mandatory for the Gallery completion makes it not really grind worthy, since you get nothing in return beside an achievement.
raiden4622 18 May @ 4:51pm
sadness im guessing you had 5 servants in that bond thing that entire time of playing? in my opinion thats probably the worst achievements to go for.
Was kind of planning on going for 100% now that I've cleared story and did a big load of the extra missions. But some of these achievements have changed my mind. I'll put my time towards another game.:nerov:
Matiz  [author] 13 Aug, 2023 @ 3:18am
this + max bonding at least one of each servant class. For example, you max bond Nero for Saber's Charm and Saber's Relic mystic codes, Lancelot for Berserker's Charm and Berserker's Relic, etc.
raiden4622 12 Aug, 2023 @ 5:23pm
Just EX VERY HARD and all EXTRAS you don't need to EX every mission on every difficult, tho I kinda plan that because I miss playing this game and I want more.
desgraça dos infernos 12 Aug, 2023 @ 12:10pm
Do i need to EX rank all stages to unlock all mystic codes?
