try to avoid light outlines because that definitely has nothing to do with it, and actually have outlines for that matter, the only thing regarding outlines if you want to replicate the modern style is using black, because that's what the old style does
the only ones that look modern are the sharknado thing, the xeno staff, the crystal dagger, and oddly the finch staff, but because these were mostly just recolours, though with that said i'd make the outlines darker on the sharknado one
also try to avoid turning the pointy staff ends flat, not only does it look wrong, that's also not a thing the style does
