WARNING:
This will only work on locally-hosted servers. Joining a public server with this mod enabled may kick you from the session. When attempting to play without this mod, disable it on your addon list and restart your game.





What does this do?
A weapon balancing overhaul to make each weapon more unique from one another but still attempt to keep a good level of balance for standard game rules. Each weapon now serves much more distinct purposes and allows all of them to stand out more from each other. Below are the roles of each weapon:



Rifles

(Tier 2) Assault Rifle - High fire rate. Low damage per shot. 60 round magazine. High overall ammo count. Serves as a direct upgrade to the SMG.

(Tier 2) AK Rifle - Low fire rate. High damage per shot. 35 round magazine. Standard overall ammo count. Serves as a direct upgrade to the Silenced SMG.

(Tier 2) Military Rifle - 3 round burst rifle dealing high damage per shot. Highly accurate. Low overall ammo count. Functions similar to the Hunting Rifle without a scope but also more lenient when it comes to magazine size to DPS ratio.

(Tier 2) SG552 Rifle - Mix between the Assault and AK rifles, taking qualities from both.


Shotguns

(Tier 1) Pump Shotgun - Very high damage and relatively tight spread; useful for killing specials. 3 round magazine size. Accurate at close to medium ranges.

(Tier 2) Chrome Shotgun - Very high damage and relatively tight spread, useful for killing specials. 6 round magazine size. Accurate at close to medium ranges. Serves as a direct upgrade to the Pump Shotgun.

(Tier 1) SPAS Shotgun - Wide horizontal spread; great for dealing with commons. Large pellet count. 4 round shell capacity. High penetration.

(Tier 2) Auto Shotgun - Wide horizontal spread; great for dealing with commons. Large pellet count. 8 round shell capacity. High penetration. Serves as a direct upgrade to the SPAS Shotgun.


Sniper Rifles

(Tier 2) Hunting Rifle - Slow fire rate with high damage; great for dealing with specials at medium to long ranges. 12 round magazine. Functions similar to the SCAR rifle but has zoom functionality at the cost of reduced magazine size to DPS ratio.

(Tier 1) Scout Sniper - Slow fire rate with very high damage; great for dealing with specials at medium to long ranges. 5 round magazine. Serves a roll as "high burst damage" to specials.

(Tier 2) AWP Sniper - Slow fire rate with very high damage; great for dealing with tougher specials at medium to long ranges. 4 round magazine. Serves as a direct upgrade to the Scout Sniper.

(Tier 2) Military Sniper - High fire rate with moderate damage; great for dealing with most targets at all ranges. 36 round magazine. High total ammo count. Functions similar to the AK rifle but not automatic.


SMGs

(Tier 1) SMG - High fire rate. 50 round magazine. Low damage. Slightly more effective against Commons than Specials.

(Tier 1) Silenced SMG - Low fire rate. 25 round magazine. High damage. Slightly more effective against Specials than Commons.

(Tier 1) MP5 - Mix between the SMG and Silenced SMG, taking qualities from both.


Pistols

(Tier 0) Pistol - Highly accurate. Fast fire rate. Low damage. 12 round magazine (24 with dual pistols). Very effective against Commons.

(Tier 0) Magnum - Highly accurate. Moderate fire rate. High damage. 6 round magazine. Very effective against Specials.
