A large armoured cruiser of the Pydrinckian Imperial Navy, the Valentina-Class features a mixed main battery and a potent secondary armament, designed to close with and destroy other heavy ships with repeated high-explosive volleys. While sporting extensive rangefinding equipment, its anti-aircraft performance demands escorts, with only a token attempt made to defend it from bombing attacks. Relatively modern in the navy of Pydrinck, the Valentina and its sister ships are yet to prove themselves in any major conflicts; the opportunity may now be arising.
