Description
Update includes special AI behaviors for every round, improved character textures and fur fins, a helmet for Curimur, longsword attacks and balance changes, level improvements, dialogue improvements, new character variants w/ color palettes and more! Read change log for a full list.

Sail to the continent of Athilen...
Dwylin, a hare of the Braigheach highlands, and Curimur, a rabbit champion of the Kingdom of Kailiers, face off beneath the shadow of the ruins of Glenaster in a duel to either a glorious victory, or an honorable death.

The characters and weapons are all available from the in-game spawn menu. Feel free to use them as you wish!

This mod includes two brand-new playable characters with their own custom weapons, each having unique animations, and 13 tracks of fully custom music made by F1uTe. (In case you were wondering, yes, Bagpiper did contribute to the bagpipe tracks, just to live up to his name.) The mod is also fully voiced using Replica Studios text-to-speech!
This mod was FnBs' map jam entry for January 2023. In which, we chose the themes versus and betrayal from the theme pool.

This mod is overloaded with custom-made music (by F1uTe)! We can highly recommend turning music on!

ALL workshop dependencies are required for the mod to work properly!

All in all, though, I'd give this a solid 9/10! The only complaint I'd have would be the voices, as it would've sounded better with actual voice-actors instead of text-to-speech, but like I said, they were still serviceable. And it didn't take away from how utterly incredible this mod was! :)

This was really frickin' awesome! The cutscenes were done better than any other cutscene in any other Overgrowth mod, bolstered by there being actual SPOKEN DIALOGUE instead of just reading text boxes! The voices were quite good and got the job done - though I can personally do a much better Scottish accent. The combat was great as well, with the new fisticuffs animations, the uppercuts to stun the opponent, and the grunts and taunts being tossed around with each attack. Just incredible!

I played as Dwylin and ended up winning 5-1, the final round being the only one that I lost. And during that final round, Curimur flipped me over and disarmed me of my sword, and my sword seemed to phase through the ground this time, leaving me needing to fight him with fists while he still had his sword. I think that's the main reason I lost. Though, towards the end of the round, I did disarm him of his sword and started using it against him, but he still managed to finish me off.

@Bag_Piper It worked wonders! Thank you so much for the tips. I'm just not gamer enough to have found that out by myself, but I'm proud to say I've gotten 5-1 in my favor now. Very fun mod, madly polished and value :D

@Rogvirr, I find that the best way to land hits on your opponent, is to attack them while they are starting a swing. Of course you'll have to guess the timing for your hit, since you'll need to start your attack a little BEFORE the enemy starts theirs. I personally don't use my counter attack replacement much, since it's just not as useful as the shoulder throw. Just keep a steady aggression, while blocking/dodging (without following up a counters most the time), and that should get you some wins. Hope that helps!

It's the coolest freaking thing I've ever seen, from the voices to the characters and lore, the animations and environments, etc...BUT. HOW DO YOU BEAT YOUR OPPONENT? If you successfully counter, he almost always counters your counter. I have no idea how to expose his weaknesses since he will parry everything you throw at it (metaphorically and realistically). I'm just stumped. Any help please?

@BerkTheBetter, On the main menu there's a 'windows' button up on the blue tab. Click on that then press on 'mods'. That will bring up the mods window. You'll have to press the 'menu' button on the window and switch it to advanced mode to upload mods to the workshop.

More effort was put into this mod than the whole of the base game. Great work!
