"No, don't eat the spiders!"

Description
Allows the player to pick up and eat small spiders and different types of leeches after killing them. Which small creatures are edible and how much food they give can be configured through the settings menu.

This mod is compatible with Batfly Storage and will allow storing edible small creatures in shelters if both are enabled. Eighth Food Points is also strongly recommended, but it is not strictly required.

Supports v1.10.2 and v1.9.15b. Only spiders are edible under default settings in 1.9.15b, but they can be configured to be edible in the Remix menu.

glad to know i wasn't the only one experiencing that issue, lol. problem is now it's happening again (except this time on a different mod, idk which one yet) still hope this one gets updated though because it was fun (and yummy!)

Yeah I have a similar issue, this mod can brick my saves sometimes and I am not sure why. Take a look at a thread of messages of mine in the Rain World Discord.

for some reason this mod freezes my game making the screen brighter every second when i hit play/story after hibernating in a modded region, not in the same play session rather when i close the game to play later. i play with a bunch of mods and this is the only one that seems to fix it when i disable it

suggestion to make sea leaches 2/4 food pips instead of 1/4 as they are a lot bigger

Apparently when I don't have the eighth food pips in my game, the food meter bugs out a bit (I pick up a spider, it shows the food meter but no food pips & I have to eat like a ton of spiders just to get at least part of a pip to appear)
