Description
On this large map, the robbers try to get to the upper levels of the map, before stealing the jewelry or breaking into the safes.
While there are ATMs and other smaller amounts of money at the ground floor, those alone are usually not enough for the robbers to win.


Recommended settings:
  • Min. 3 cops
  • Min. 4 robbers
  • Amount to steal: 50.000
  • A little bit additional time (e.g. 6 minutes instead of 5) to enter the upper parts of the station
Feel free to adjust the settings as you see fit.

FAQ
The elevators are being camped by the cops. How do I get to the upper floors?
There are many more ways to the upper floors than you might think at first glance, which you can use to surprise the cops. For example:
  • Destructible walls in the mountain
  • The hiking path next to the cop spawn
  • Using explosions to fly up the mountain
  • Climbing up using the scout
  • Spawning as the insider or the agent
  • A secret path

I can see the next safe from inside the glass cylinder, but cannot destroy the glass. How do I get there?
Since it's a safe, the glass is bullet proof. There are other ways to get into the room visible from inside the glass cylinder, such as:
  • A destructible wall
  • Using the drill to get directly into the safe
  • Coming through the windows
  • An elevator
  • A secret path
So basically while the safes are very near to each other and visible at the same time, its practically still a longer way to get from one safe into the other.

Why can't I use the elevator to get to the first and second floor?
This is kind of part of the "lore" behind the map.
The idea is that the civilians, that enter the building, meet at a central hub (the third floor), no matter which official way (hiking path or elevator) they use, before their tour through the research station starts.

From a gameplay perspective this makes the third floor a relevant spot to guard, since many paths lead to this place.
From there on there are multiple ways to get to the various treasures (safes, jewelry, etc.).

I found a tunnel, but don't fit through. Why?
Try out entering the tunnel using the ability of the "Micro" robber class.

I just moved the spawn points a bit as I suggested and updated the map, but I doubt that this will fix the issue.
I hope the devs can help you out.

My server seems fine otherwise, so I guess this is likely a game issue. I will contact the dev. But thanks for the feedback and help.

I created the map from scratch by checking the checkbox "empty map" in the level editor.
This also removes the skyline in the background.
The brightness and color of the light on the map can be managed using the "Light Config" object.

Honestly I have no idea why this issue specifically occurs when playing on a dedicated server and I don't think that there is much I can do about it, since I'm only using the default tools "Perfect Heist 2" provides for creating custom maps.

The only thing I could try is moving the spawn points a bit higher above the ground. But of course I cannot guarantee that this will help.

Did you try if you have that issue on other custom maps as well?
Maybe it's also related to the server (CPU, network connection to the server, etc.).

btw, how did you change the default skybox/surrounding area of the map? in the level editor there is just the default and island.

Thanks, but as I said, this issue occurs when hosting the map on a dedicated server. This does not occur when hosting in-game lobbies.

I could not reproduce that issue. But I know that we sometimes had a comparable bug when playing any custom map in Perfect Heist 2.

I recommend that all players who participate in your hosted game (including yourself) follow the following steps before hosting a lobby with a custom map:
1. Subscribe to the map, that you want to play, in the workshop
2. In the main menu click "Host Game", then "Refresh Custom Maps"
3. Restart "Perfect Heist 2"
4. Start your lobby as usual

Please let me know if that resolved your issue.

Thank you for your feedback. I will check this out today and then respond again.
This issue must either be related to an update, or a bug in the game itself, since I didn't experience that when playtesting with a group of people after I last updated the map.

when hosting this on dedicated server and spawning on either team, players just fall through the ground. can you fix this please, or is this a game issue?
