East Hebei Army Mod

Welcome to the East Hebei Army mod. This mod adds the East Hebei Army during the Second Sino Japanese war. If you don't know what East Hebei is, it is a Japanese puppet government/Buffer zone that was set up by Yin Ju-Keng in 1935. East Hebei was a result of the Tanggu Truce of 1933 and the He-Umezu Agreement of 1935. This piece of land served as a buffer/demilitarized zone between the ROC and the recently Japanese occupied Manchuria and should be stripped of KMT influence. One of the administrators of the place, the aforementioned Yin Ju-Keng proclaimed that East Hebei will be independent off of China. One of the most notable events that lead to the downfall of this state was the Tungchow Mutiny. where the East Hebei Army massacred and slaughtered a bunch of Japanese civilians and soldiers as defiance of the Japanese. The government survived until 1938 when it was absorbed by the reformed government of the republic of china which would be remade into the reorganized government of the republic of china aka the Wang Jingwei regime.
