TB-108 Fast Attack Torpedo Boat

Originally Built as a cheap short-range coastal defense against larger warships, Skralagia's "Dark Serpent" Class torpedo boat expanded into roles from short-ranged anti-submarine Warfare to long-range reconnaissance. TB-108 was launched at Capital Boatworks on March 2nd of 1922, and was deployed to the Sawyer Islands and based at the small Olsen Bay Naval Station, assigned to the 10th torpedo boat flottila with 20 other boats of the class. Other than a few missions escorting damaged ships back into harbor and checking on foreign warships entering the port on goodwill visits, TB-108's history was relatively uneventful until the war of the Eighth Sea. In 1935, TB-108 was modified to carry the new TG-2 acoustic-homing torpedo. After the opening of hostilities against SFNI in 1938, TB-108 saw use primarily as an anti-merchant shipping vessel north of the Sawyer Islands. On the evening of April 12th 1939, TB-108 was sunk during combat with a misguided convoy directed towards the Sawyer Islands, although the MRN Jersey was scuttled after power to the engines was lost.
