Boss Rush

Description
Welcome to Boss Rush! In this mode, the heroes will face off against a number of classic villains all in a row, without resetting their HP or cards between fights. Players choose how many bosses to face and whether they will be chosen by the players or randomly picked, and the mod handles the rest! How many villains can you defeat? Build the most OP team and take down as many as you can!

Support for Team Villain mode has now been added! In addition to fighting a gauntlet of bosses, you can also use it to switch up the turn order of a team villain game without adding more villains. The two non-vanilla options for turn order are "All villains, then all heroes", which runs all the villain turns and then all the hero turns instead of alternating between heroes and villains; and "Shuffle", which randomizes the turn order at the start of the game.

If you are a mod creator and you don't want one of your villains to show up in Boss Rush, you can add the following line to the deck list of that villain:

"IsUnreleased": true,

If you notice any issues caused by this mod, please report them in the bug reporting thread.

Known issues:
- The game often desyncs in multiplayer mode.
- The villain character card does not appear until the page turns. This is a graphical issue only; the card is in fact there.
- Nuit's damage reduction is applied twice if she is one of the starting Ennead. This resolves itself after rewinding the game.
- Cards with a “The heroes may not win the game” clause may not function properly. Special handling is included for Omnitron, The Chairman, Wager Master, Kaargra Warfang, Hydra Tiamat, and 1929 Ram. Please report any other cases on this mod's workshop page so I can add them to the mod.
- If Hydra Tiamat enters the game or is defeated while Unforgiving Wasteland is in play, the game immediately ends with the special environment ending.

Team mode known issues:
- Villain cutouts may not update when going straight from one villain turn to another
- The game says that all effects are removed when a villain is replaced, but this is incorrect. Status effects are not removed.
- The cutscene for replacing villains shows a black screen instead of the defeated villain. This is because team villains don't have the same cutout images as classic villains, so the game doesn't have an image to display.
- The Boss Rush rules card counts as an incapacitated character, so Bugbear does +1 damage.

This is fantastic, it feels like a must have feature for people wanting to play "campaigns".

Yeah, it needs to be flipped for the game to recognize that whatever villain is in that slot is actually defeated, and Bugbear gets a +1 from it. I've added it to the known issues.

One little comment on Team Villain mode- Boss Rush counts as a defeated villain, so Bugbear gets a +1 on all of his attacks if he's in play.

While this mod is very fun, people should be aware that it works primarily in singleplayer and many of the bosses will simply desync in multiplayer and lose their setup. This is particularly bad with the Ennead, which will just give you an instant win since none of them come out, and heroic infinitor will have his crushing cages, which is pretty horrible having indestructible crushing cages on heroes. I haven't encountered any problems in singleplayer though, and it's quite fun planning for longer campaigns and getting to know hero decks really well.

This is incredibly creative, thanks for making this!
Is it possible to also make it swap environments as well, and/or to possibly implement a rolling roster change of the heroes? (so each new match, one hero would be replaced, thus over time your team would slowly change)
Anyways, this is a really fun twist on the normal gameplay and I really enjoy it.
