You might want to remove the Ready Check Names from this mod's description?
* Added "Alternate Colors" to Font Settings submenu to improve readability. Default is "off". Thanks for the idea QuiOui!
* Removed Ready Check Names feature to make it easier to maintain. Please sub to that mod if this functionality is still desired.
Re: crab cakes: I'll take a look soon(ish) (sorry for the extreme delay, I missed the comment)
Re: mac n cheese: I have tried to avoid modding other mods, since it's easy for a food mod to just add the labels themselves. Since that hasn't had an update in a couple years, I'll consider making an exception, if I can do it without making that mod a dependency.
Boxed Mac N Cheese has regular and egg versions that are very similar, with the egg version being slightly lighter than the regular version. You can see letters above pots and individual portions, but not once plated (which includes customer orders).

The base game should support pizza and salads, now, but I haven't confirmed. The labels added to these dishes by this mod can be disabled in the options menu, if you'd like to try the vanilla labels out.
Some additional updates that I made a while ago and never pushed, that just happened to get rolled into this update:
* The menu is now available under Options -> Accessibility -> Colorblind+
* KitchenLib is no longer a dependency
I can create a mod ticket.
If so, and if you're in the unofficial plateup modding discord, could you create a mod ticket with your player.log file?
