Mall Santa

Description
A down on his luck seasonal Santa, who joined the Resistance due to the Mayor's economic policies surrounding the holiday season. Since most businesses hire a Santa around this time, you can pass unchallenged almost everywhere, and certain Christmas fanatics will want to be your best friend.

Santa is a natural at breaking and entering, and feels there is a certain poetic justice in stealing presents back from those who may have been naughty this year.

Stats:
The Mall Santa is not an athlete or a fighter. If you were in better shape you would be able to hold down a regular job.
Endurance 1
Speed 2
Melee 1
Firearms 1

Traits:
Charismatic: during the season, Mall Santas are part of the scenery; people tend not to bother you.
Random Reverence: to some weirdos, the symbology of Christmas is so important that they will do anything to defend it. This includes laying down their lives for a complete stranger in a red suit.
Intrusion Artist: the legend of Santa Claus is the world's all-time most beloved image of burglary. What could be more natural than an actor dressed as Santa breaking into people's homes?

Starting Items:
Lockpick (3)
Window Cutter (3)
Safe Buster (3)

Big Quest:
Undiscerning Looting (same as Thief)
The city is filled with supporters of the Mayor's corruption. Naughty! Losing their possessions is the best they deserve this year.

Strategy Notes:
The Mall Santa is an interesting (I think) twist on the Thief class. With no pickpocketing ability, reduced speed, and fewer tools, Santa is generally inferior at stealing.

The most important difference is Santa's ability to establish trust and blend in, making it far easier to navigate the city and 'case' targets. Hiring expendable assistants and bodyguards is cheap and easy with so many people around who love Christmas. Do not mistake Mall Santa for a combat "pet master" though. Hirelings are usually only good as brief distractions while you get in and get out with the objective.

Generally speaking, Mall Santa does well until later levels when your slower speed and lack of combat ability finally catch up with you. You'll need to play very well and be lucky to boot to get all the way to the Mayor.
