Wasted Hours

A combination of content mod for the 4 (technically 5) Hours which had a card but no victory/ascension path and quality of life mod to add alternative ways to use/access various mechanics.
The mod is split into submodules so that you can manually migrate it to the local mod folder and remove any you don’t want. json files are named as either dep_ or base_ followed by the module name. base_ modules are standalone, dep_ require one-or-more base modules.

The Chemist, including Twins ascension (dependent on Waves and Pets)
Legacy: Compounding prescriptions by day and hearing voices by night, has just received a very strange tonic request. Starts with upgraded reason. Gimmick mechanics of talking to a possibly-sapient figment, compound your own Witch-Kissed Oil and a special job which pays well but also needs to be regularly studied.
Ascension path: Bind yourself to another far deeper than any normal relationship with the aid of the Twins. Other standard legacies can alternatively begin the ascension path by dreaming on one of the 3 standard temptations and using a lover.

The Illustrator, including Horned-Axe ascension (dependent on Canvas)
Legacy: A commission artist, has just received the strangest commission of their life. Starts with upgraded passion. Gimmick mechanic of Opium addiction.
Ascension path: Create a great effigy to embody and capture all that you hate of yourself with the help of the Horned-Axe. Other standard legacies can alternatively begin the ascension path by dreaming on one of the 3 standard temptations and using decrepitude.

The Miner, including Ring-Yew ascension (dependent on Shears)
Legacy: A career coal-miner, has just received some very bad news. Starts with upgraded health. Gimmick mechanic of terminal illness.
Ascension path: Seek a solution for your failing body with the help of the Ring-Yew, along with some other less-fortunate “volunteers”. Other standard legacies can alternatively begin the ascension path by dreaming on one of the 3 standard temptations and using affliction.

The Appraiser, including Beachcomber ascension (dependent on Waves and Curios)
Legacy: A vulture who buys bulk chattels from inheritors who don’t know better, the latest acquisition contained some strange items. No gimmick mechanic.
Ascension path: Collect treasured secrets and secret treasures for the Beachcomber. Other standard legacies can alternatively begin the ascension path by browsing Harrow’s shop with one of the 3 standard temptations.

The Acolyte (dependent on Self)
Legacy: A low ranking member of an existing cult, clawing your way up through the ranks will be met with resistance. Gimmick mechanics of hardmode start with restricted access to resources and contacts, a starting rival and eventual long attacks.

Self
Passionate dreams may remind you that sometimes you just cannot delegate. Work on cult business personally: 3 general actions, 3 vault actions, 8 influence actions, 8 special actions. Chance of success and/or consequences determined by your skill and knowledge. Choose to start a cult of 1 to preserve your secrets. Have your would-be associate start their own.

Curios
Discover a new location in the city. Buy curious items. Reflect on them, use them as conversation starters or give them to aggrieved followers. Work at the store.
NOTE: For balance reasons this was implemented alongside a change which makes healing a follower’s wound give 2 resentment.

Canvas
Discover a new location in the city. Buy high quality art supplies. Attract Art Patrons by painting about certain esoteric topics with quality pigments. Fulfil commissions for the currency of the hidden world. Spend it on even higher quality art supplies.

Pets
Discover a new location in the city. Buy pets. Give them to your followers or play with them. Remember to feed it. Find an ancient witch’s tome. Learn to make familiars.

Shears
Meet the barber-surgeon. Get refreshing dapper haircuts. Cut a little closer to the skin for healing or facial reconstruction.

Waves
Discover a new location in the city. Walk along the beach at rising or falling tide. Search for seashells or treasure when the tide is out.

Not other requirements, not even beta branch or Roost.
