VKE (Vampire Knives Expanded)

Description
VKE (Vampire Knives Extended) adds many new knives and vampire-based accessories into the game.
This mod is in the process of being ported from 1.3 and some features may be buggy, please send any bug reports in the Discord link below!

Fix #2:
- Reimplements moonlord's knives as the mechanics were changed
- Fixed drops of Luminite Palm
- Fixed small memory leak issue that was growing RAM requirements over time
- Minor rework to multiple knives so they don't have as frequent collisions with tiles
- Fixed issue with processing unit not appearing in cyborg inventory when other mods modify cyborg shop
- Fixed some tiles not dropping all the time
- Minor fixes to UI of blood altar in singleplayer
- Can now mine blood altar with any pickaxe
- Blood Altar working properly in singleplayer again (no infinite negative blood points)
Thanks to Pxntxrez for bringing attention to a few of these issues
*Multiplayer fixes to come but none yet*

Hotfix:
- Fixed Penumbra having high dps with piercing
- Tweaked damage of fiery knives and penumbra to better reflect expected damage
- Fixed names of Penumbra and Umbra (Shadow knives and True Shadow knives)

Update 0.4, Cleaning things up

- Gem Knives are now fully implemented!
- Multiplayer should now be mostly functional (please send any bugs in discord)
- Murder potion now applies to all damage types and effect has been reworked.
- All hoods have been reworked to be balanced and unique to use.
- Material knives defense effects now working as intended.
- Shards & damaged wyvern heads fixed.
- Bloody mess & Riochet fun mod options added.
- Effect descriptions added for all accessories.
- Vampiric Prism will now only function when above 20% HP.
- All upgrade resources now tagged as such in tooltip.
- Removed dependency on Particle Library
- Daedalus effects and consistency greatly improved

Past Updates

Update 0.3, UI Finally!
- Upgrade UI is back! To open it right click on any knife workbench, you'll then be able to upgrade knives to your liking!
- Blood Altars are back! A new ritual was also added that will be the start of ritualistic crafting! Check out the Ritual Book from Vlad for Recipes! (only one for now, please send suggestions in the discord!)
- Skin inventory is back! Talk to Vlad to get some different visuals on your necklace! (In-world visuals to come!)
- Vampire armor set added back, other armors to come but need some more updating.
- Life steal potion and murder potion added back!
- Living enemies have hearts now and may even drop them! Throw them into your blood altar to get some extra blood essence!
- Defense knives are back! Max set to 20 by default but can be changed in the config options.
- Added Luminite Palm and Extra Hand, completing the vanilla accessories adding extra projectiles.
- Nyives will no longer stick to the ground as easily when being shot from the ground.
- Small tweaks to some knives.
- Further fixed movement with bat transform (let me know if it's still wonky with other accessories added)

Update 0.2, Some Much Needed Updates:
- Greatly improved the visuals of all knives
- Fixed healing from getting to the hundreds after playing for a while
- Config reimplimented for changing knife damage, healing amount, and heal projectile spawn chance
- Updated the pillar knives to be more balanced and unique
- Updated Blooming Terror (Plantera drop) to be more balanced and unique
- Updated Hand of the Moonlord to be more unique, still not super happy w/ visuals of it tho so visuals will likely change again
- Completely reworked Umbra and Penumbra to be more useful and fun
- Changed some visuals for material knives and added effects to hardmode material knives (cobalt/palladium and later)
- Sengos forgotten blades reworked
- Rukasu's Bundle o' Tesla Coils reworked and volume annoyance drastically reduced
- Delta buffed O7
- Increased speed of Starfury-type projectiles to make aiming more natural
- Chain knives have higher rate of fire, damage lowered slightly
- Horseman's Blades damage nerfed, increased rate of pumpkin spawning
- Harpy knife damage output nerfed
- Antlion knives slightly nerfed
- Fixed some bugs with Nyives and Horseman's blades tile collisions
- Nerfed the Daedalus Storm Blade's lightning bolts
- Balanced terra knives
- Fixed a few tooltip issues
- Fixed bug where necklace mult didn't apply to healing
- Fixed damage of Harvester's Soul
- Fixed some awkward movement with Bat transform

This is the first update in the progress towards porting from 1.3 to 1.4. A LOT is disabled and currently I'd say about only half of the mod is here, but almost all the weapons are here and functional.
Everything should be pretty much the same except for these two changes:
- Addition of the Delta, Psi, and Theta Knives
- Changes to the visuals of Daedalus Stormblades

The Cyborg seems to be completely broken in 1.4.4, only has one slot that sells rockets, without this mod he works properly, with only this mod it is broken.

Just a quick issue, me and my friend have a calamity world with this mod, and our knife workbench gets deleted every time we leave the game, and whenever i place it my friend can't see it.

Oooooh, thank you! But also i found 1 thing, with fire knives you could destroy everybody and deal insane dps, but with shadow knives you literally deal 1 damage almost to every hardmode mob(, the damage is too low for this weapon, but i still love em <3<3<3

Hi! Thank you for your kind words, we have a discord with an wiki in #faq that shows how to craft stuff like the vamp table tile that doesn't show up well in recipe browser for some reason. (You craft it at a knife worktable which is craftable at a regular workbench). I've linked the Wiki in the description now so you can view it. It's a simple google doc, all the wiki sites have denied the mod access currently.

Bro i really love this mod, but i'd say that this is pretty hard to get how to craft different items, for example, i have been trying find how to craft "vamp table tile" for pretty much but still don't get it, or where to find blood altar, apologize for my english (from russia)

This mod is disabled in MP because I've had to completely rewrite the netcode with the newer api. Working on it when I get free time, but haven't had much of that the past few years.
