1:1 FV432 Mk.II

Description
This is a ~1:1 replica of the British Army’s FV432 armoured personnel carrier.

FV432 was introduced in 1963, and used in the Mk.II configuration until the early 2000s where it was replaced with the FV430 Bulldog. The vehicle had a crew of Driver/Commander and 6-10 infantry could be carried in the back. Several variants and modifications of the APC were developed from engineering and command vehicles to electronic warfare units. Learn more about the FV432 here!

Though not being ideal for use in a regular SE context, this FV432 was designed to function in survival mode and is optimized for SETB standard PvP. The use of Klime’s InFlightButtons mod is not strictly necessary but highly recommended. The interior and exterior have been rendered as accurately as I could manage, and this includes the lackluster visibility for the driver – it is useful to increase the FoV to 120° if using the periscope. The driver also has access to a Transmission script developed by AWG. Use Q and E to shift gears, 1R/6F as in the real vehicle. Unfortunately I could not find a graceful way to get the roof hatch to open and maintain the iconic round shape, so it’s fixed in place for the time being.

In-Game Stats:
  • Weight: 26.9t
  • Max Speed: 93km/h
  • Blocks: 459
  • PCU: 3932
  • Powerplant: 1x Light engine, 2x batteries.
  • Armament: 1x Pintle-mounted GPMG
  • Crew: 1-2 (Driver, Commander)

  • SETB BP Cost: 26
  • Matched play constraints: LCW Era onwards.

The FV432 comes pre-loaded and pre-fuelled. The vehicle carries 6x 6.5mm Semi-Automatic Rifles, a 20mm Anti-Tank Rifle, a 7.62mm MMG, 8x Medical kits and engineering equipment for the dismounted infantry.

The engines are off by default to conserve fuel levels. You will need to turn them on from the Driver’s seat before use. The refueling connector is underneath the vehicle accessed through a hatch.

The decorative fake tracks in the AWG CWP you already require look pretty decent, at least if you aren't looking too carefully while it's moving.
