Description
Another installation!?... yeah, even underwater. This seems to never end, but going back is not an option so better keep going forward.

As I said, that's entirely up to you, it's your map. I'm just trying to point out some shortcomings that could be improved upon. I do agree if you'd take such an approach though, to rather take the pointers into a future project instead of tweaking with old maps. Because it's more logical to do so.

It is the responsibility of the server to keep up with the latest version of the map, the reason the map is so difficult is because it is meant to be challenging. In any case, don't worry, I will bring back the robot boss with improved behavior and weaknesses in future maps. Keep in mind that my time is limited and I'd rather spend it creating new maps than messing around with old ones.

Also for your information, some of the servers that is hosting this map has made it so players does not get the map downloaded the correct way, therefor making sure they can't play it on their own. So that also becomes a problem with familiarity.

I had to go here to subscribe to the map, even if I have played it before, since the server I played it on messed with the download so anyone who played it can't start it locally without subbing here.

Yes, but most players are not familiar with the map, making them much less able to figure it out. It does indeed mostly end up with an RTV vote during the robot phase. You aren't forced to patch it by any means, it's your map. The concept of it is cool, but a patch of the map could be made to increase the size of the target to compensate for the lag.

It's just a bummer that the map is getting rtv'd the majority of the time at this particular stage.
Having players think and use different approaches is good and all, but you have to ask yourself if the methods are too obscure for the average player, which prefer a very casual gameplay with very linear maps, easy puzzles and a boatload of zombies, weapons and ammo in between the start and the end.

There aretwo ways to kill it fastand easy:

-Using the TNT, one hit in the right place is enough.
-Shooting through the glass with .308 ammo before activating the robot.

Gotta agree with Ulref, the concept is cool, but the hitbox on the metal plate is too small. I've never seen anyone manage to kill it that way, if someone who never played this map reach it first and then release the robot without firing while the glass is opening then it usually just ends in an RTV after 5-10 minutes of whole server trying to hit it.

To anyone with problems with the robot, use the dynamite to kill it with one hit.

try to shoot the metal plate while the glass thing is still opening. The secret to defeat it is to anticipate the path that is going to take and dont waste ammo. It takes time but you can kill it no problem.

robot hitbox is not lag compensated, try making inner belly bigger so people can actually hit, no one that we know could defeat it in classic mode, only -200 hp but robot has like 3000 for each part

Not really is just a bunch of maps that I made for fun, but maybe I will include something like that.
