Description
This mod adds the T'au Empire from Warhammer 40k as a faction with their own ideology and xenotype. Included are:
-Faction with ideology and backstories
-T'au Xenotype
-Kroot Xenotype
-Weapons
--Pulse Rifle
--Kroot Gun
--Ion Rifle
--Rail Rifle
--Pulse Carbine
--Neutron Blaster
--Ethereal Honor Blade
-Apparel
--Tau Armor
--Breacher Helmet
--Fire Warrior Helmet
--Ethereal Robes
--Tau Fatigues

All textures are 512x512. This is my first mod but more or less feature complete, please let me know what you think. I also highly suggest RIMMSQOL to edit the weapon stats as I'm abysmal at balancing. I have no plans to make a CE patch, as I don't personally use it.

All copyright to their respective owners at GW etc. I don't make any money off of this, if you sue me I don't have any cash.
All sounds are ripped from Dawn of War which is property of Relic, copyright etc.
Thanks to the VE team for their framework, Ghost for his Poleepkawa xenotype which I used as a base, and Neronix for Rimhammer 40k which got me to make this.

God, I can't wait to punch giant gore holes into disgusting enemies of The One Path at extremely high velocity using the sacred Rail Rifle. 'Might actually, finally, do a run where I attempt to expand my ideology as far and wide as one can.
Either nicely, or not-so-nicely, depending.

Those who reject The Greater Good are not to be met with scorn, but mercy, for their ignorance is not their fault, but rather, something to be remedied to the best of our abilities, through wisdom and diplomacy.

Unless, of course, they want to fuck around and find out.

Or, maybe, my T'au will end up like La' Kais, and see humans as a cancer to be cleansed, unsuitable and unworthy to relish in the peace and splendor offered by The One Path.

I unironically enjoyed the Fire Warrior novel; it's a fun read.

iirc the way most(if not all) facial animation mods work is by replacing the head with one used by the mod, so xenotypes do work but without a custom patch for the head gene they will just have the head from facial animations. i'm no expert on this though since i've only briefly used them

Apologies, had the comments turned off somehow for Steam and forgot this existed, honestly. Had fun killing a month or two of weekends with Rimworld modding but don't have the time I did when making this to keep up. I'll keep an eye on 1.6 and 1.5 but I don't have any further content planned(just have some loose Necron stuff I never coded because it was beyond my ability after Vespids were proving tricky). I'll spare somebody else the busywork of updating this if/when something breaks just in case nobody ever makes a suitable replacement.

If as well somebody wanted to redo the art, code, or use all of it for whatever purpose themselves go ahead, this was mostly a fun little timewaster. Also try it yourselves sometime, modding is (sometimes) fun.
