Description
7th September 2024: Reuploaded trying to fix the incompatible warning. None of the files I modified seem to be changed in this version of the game.

Carbonium, Ironium and Rare Element miners consume 0 ore and create the default amount. Carbonium Powerplants also don't consume the ore they sit on.

This mod conflicts with anything that changes the files for miners or the carbonium powerplant (like Resources Reworked, etc.)

I didn't modify the Mini Miner consumption (but does anyone even use that thing?)

NOTE: Some people said this mod stops working sometimes and we don't know why. Unsubscribing and subscribing to this mod again might fix it.

I won't have time to update this anymore. If you want to make a mod that adds that feature I'll link it on this page so others can find it.

Any chance of adding the Drone miners and utility miners to the "do not deplete" list?

Just a brief note that this one does seem to still be working, though the game thinks that it is an incompatible version when loading.

I can understand that completely. it was just a hope. i figured it might be something you could do, since the way you edited the rare miner in this mod didnt just reduce the consumption to 0, it removed the ability for it to be placed on any other node other than the vanilla 4 rare ones. so i just "assumed" that it would be something easier to adjust on your side. thank you for the responce :)

Sorry the Expanded Arsenal mod changes so many files you would have to just make another version of that mod where the miners don't consume the rare ores. I don't know any way to use two mods that both modify the same file (like the file that controls miner behavior)

So your best bet is to ask the Expanded Arsenal developer if they want to make a special version of it.

i realize this isnt a problem with the mod exactly, but is there a way you can add the ores from Expanded Arsenal to this, or make a new mod that has it as well?

this mod works great for the base game rare metals, but it doesnt allow the rare mines to be placed on the modded ores anymore

Doesn't work for rare metals so far.

It was conflicting with another mod : Storage is Optional.
Now that I've disabled it, it works well.
Cheers !

No worries thanks for letting me know

Yeah no I've figured it out, it's just a typical mod conflict problem. I had a mod that had its own ironium factory files and it was conflicting. Went in and took those files out of that mod and I haven't had a problem since. Sorry about the back and forth
