Description
7th September 2024: I think I've updated this to work with the current version of the game

A version of my other mod "Scanner Turret Instant Higher Range" but with Range=9999
I have only tested this for a few minutes but it seems to work. Use at your own risk.
The turret cannot scan things in unexplored (black) areas of the map.

Range=9999
Scanning time almost instant (0.01 seconds)
Turret can spin faster

range_max & aiming_range = 9999
scanning_time = 0.01
timeout = 60
(turning?) Speed = 600

New PC, new installation, completely clean.

Yes the bioscanner turret. It will only scan things in areas you have explored I think. So not in the black areas of the map.

It works fine for me. I just reinstalled to check. Disable other mods and check again.

Doesnt seems to be working.
Just to be sure .. the scanner turret, do you mean bioscanner turret? I dont have any new scanner turret and bioscanner turrets are still the same, no difference in them.

I think it shouldn't give the warning anymore. But the files I modified have not changed since I made the mod so there's no reason it shouldn't have been working before.

I think you can use that mod also but you would only get the size bonus by scanning manually from your mech. That mod is much more complex than this one so I'm not sure though.
