@Jargan - The devs made another announcement not too long ago. Looks like they're STILL working on it. Maybe. The scope of the changes and updates seems pretty audacious. It'd be potentially very good if they CAN finish it, but there's a big stumbling block when it comes to audacious and ambitious plans: they can always fail when the people involved bite off more than they can chew.

I hope the devs can deliver. This isn't a bad game at its core. It just needs more refining.

@solarchos they made an update about a year ago and their was some changes looks like they're working on it but still that was a year ago there's a massive hole in the gaming market for Mount and Blade like shooters crazy that this is the closest thing right now

@dcantu30 - Yeah, what the hell happened? I've seen a few comments similar to this elsewhere. Some people are now calling the whole game a scam. I disagree: it still needs some fine-tuning, but it IS a functional game. My guess is that something happened to the developers.

Maybe they lost their primary funding (not unheard of IRL)? Maybe they had a major falling out (always a possibility)? Maybe one or more of them had fatal accidents or severe health complications?

Given mods vanishing (like this one), I think your "salty" remark is likely the most accurate explanation. There might have been a major falling out among the creators.
