The European Concordia Squad was clandestinely formed by the European Union in 2017 in response to numerous terrorist attacks. The squad's mission is to counter-attack anywhere in the world with effectiveness, speed, and strength. Initially, only the heads of states of the EU had the authority to vote for the squad's deployment in each operation. However, conflicts of interest among them led to Concordia's participation in only two operations during its first two years of service. In 2019, the command of the squad was officially transferred to the president of the European Union, who is responsible for regularly informing the heads of states about ongoing operations.

Operatives for the squad were recruited through tests conducted in 2017, evaluating both physical and psychological aspects. Contestants had to come from pre-existing elite European units with a significant amount of field experience. While some countries advocated for their operatives during the vote, it was decided that the 10-member squad should have only one soldier per country. Since 2019, the operatives have been engaged in various operations worldwide, including hostage crises, bomb defusals, target eliminations, and more.

3. Heavy Gunner: Friedrich G., 35, Germany, former Kommando Spezialkräfte (KSK): Friedrich, the squad's heavy gunner, boasts a formidable background with the KSK. His proficiency in heavy weaponry and tactical firepower ensures the squad has the necessary suppressive force in intense firefights.

4. Explosive Specialist: Basil K., 27, Greece, former 1st Infantry Division (Greece): Basil's expertise as the explosive specialist stems from his service in the Greek 1st Infantry Division. His skills in bomb defusal and controlled demolitions play a crucial role in the squad's ability to neutralize threats.

5. Dog Handler/Heavy Rifleman: Elias G., 30, Austria, former Jagdkommando: Elias serves as the squad's dual-role asset, combining dog handling with heavy rifle capabilities. Trained in Austria's Jagdkommando, his proficiency in both fields provides a unique advantage, especially in tracking and apprehending targets.

6. Shield Handler: Alessandro S., 32, Italy, former 9th Paratroopers Assault Regiment (Italy): Alessandro's role as the shield handler demands both strength and precision. Hailing from Italy's 9th Paratroopers Assault Regiment, he brings expertise in urban operations and close protection, using his shield to lead the squad in high-risk environments.

7. Marksman: Luka N., 26, Croatia, former Special Operations Battalion (Croatia): Luka, the squad's marksman, is a sharpshooter with a background in Croatia's Special Operations Battalion. His keen eye and precise shooting make him a valuable asset for long-range engagements, ensuring the squad has a versatile approach to threats.

8. Medic: Magnus K., 29, Denmark, former Jaeger Corps: As the squad's medic, Magnus draws from his experience in Denmark's Jaeger Corps. His proficiency in battlefield medicine and trauma care ensures that the squad remains operational, even in the direst situations.

9. Recon: Valtteri G., 33, Finland, former Utti Jaeger Regiment: Valtteri, the squad's reconnaissance expert, hails from Finland's Utti Jaeger Regiment.
