Description

Update of Sadjuuks mod

- Since I already have a mod named UN-Colony, I renamed this to reflect that it uses vanilla resources
- Added a loft-version of the log bed, wooden bed and the steel bed if Loft Bed is loaded

UN-Colony V1.2

This mod adds many things to build a new kind of colony with new Walls, Furnitures, FLoors, Lights, Temperature Devices etc..
It adds no new mecanics, only new items, receipes, building and textures. 9 researchs are also added.
Warning :
- This mod is not compatible with its previous versions. The previous item management has been removed
- Seems to not be full compatible with every Vanilla Extended mods


For the moment this mod adds :

FURNITURES :
Hospital :
- 4 types of Medical beds and Operating Table
- 6 Upgrades : Pharmacies, Tending Tools, Surgery Lights, Wall Monitor
- 1 Emergency Stretcher (3kg, useful for Combat Extended)
Bedroom :
- 3 types of beds, simple and double (Tribes, Ancient style and Industrial)
- 9 Upgrades (Nightstand, Wardrobe, Steel Chest, Lockers, Small Steel Tables..)
Others :
- Wall Lights, Spots, Floor Lights and Street Lights
- Heaters, Wall Vents, Fan, Cooler
- Tables and Chairs (Tribes, Ancient style and Industrial, Glass, Plasteel..)
- Flags and banners


INDUSTRY :
Laboratory :
- 3 types of research bench (Tribes, Ancient style and Industrial)
- 9 Upgrades (Research library, Blueprint Table, Archival Cabinet, Computer Installation..)
Generators :
- 3 Portable generators (2 chemfuel, 1 hydrogen Fuel Cell)
- 6 chemfuel generators (1500W to 18000W)
- 1 rustic wood generator
Production :
- 1 Silicon Extractor producing Concrete and Glass from stone chunks
- 1 Chemfuel Refinery with upgrades (Fuel Tanks, Cracking Unit, Hydrolyzer)
- 2 new chemfuel recipes : Chemfuel from Hay and Chemfuel from corps
- 5 types of storage and pallets


BUILDING :
- 4 types of walls and Embrassures (Wooden, Concrete, Armored, Plasteel)
- 8 types of Doors and Autodoors (Wooden, Steel, Armored, Plasteel)
- 16 types or colors of Floor (Wooden, Concrete, Asphalt, Resin Floor)
- 4 types of Fences (Wooden, Glass, Concrete, Metal Grid)
- 3 types of Paint (Lines, Arrows, Zebra)


Notes :
- Warning this mod is a completely revised version and is not compatible with the old ones of UN-Colony or UN-Furniture
- I use Realistic Darkness and Combat Extended, it can have an impact on how the lights and wall's HP are set
- Feel free to make your suggestions for additions or adjustments
- A big thanks to Mlie for his work on previous versions and on all the Mlie's resurrected mods !
- Feel free to use the mod as you want, but if you can put a link to your mod here in comments and a link of this mod in your description it's perfect !
- The mod can be added to current saves since it only adds new things with vanilla mecanics only

@Terallis - I added this mod the other day and saw my 5 minute load time with over 700 mods to 25 minutes and went through to remedy this because that's insane. I deduced it was this mod after reviewing the mods I had recently added (no others seemed heavy). I'm glad I saw your comment as this gives me the validation that it probably is this mod.

The only help I have is:

- 457338.456ms (85%) (self: 457338.456 ms) 96912x Verse.ThingDef -> Void <PostLoad>b__398_0()
- 42463.578ms (7.9%) (self: 42463.578 ms) 102259x Verse.BuildableDef -> Void <PostLoad>b__78_0()

Unsure if this helps but it looks like it does something on like every ThingDef.

So, interestingly when seeing comments from 2023, the mod continues to have issues with the game loading process, in the XML applications. Causes it to hang on the PatchOperationInsert for a while, then hangs for a bit on Resolving XML Inheritance. Managed to get it to load after over an hour.

Initially didn't think much of it, since it mainly just adds more furniture, but the Startup Impact showed it as adding more than 10 minutes to the load time. However, after removing the mod, suddenly my TOTAL load time went from close to an hour and twenty minutes... to less than twenty minutes. I'm really not sure what's in the mod, if it was originally set up poorly, ported poorly, or similar. But it does seem to be a major impact on startup time and XML patching.

Agreed, heck, if someone could just redo the walls so the could fit with vanilla I'd be stoked!

this mod is great, but please allow the research benches to research microelectronic tiered techs.

@Dayder No idea why you are having that issue. There is only two patches in this mod, one for royalty and one for the Loft-beds mod. In testing there is no such load-spike. If you can find out what other mod is triggering it I can take a look.

I too have a problem like Tearous has, but worse (due to the sheer number of mods that I have, I guess).
The game takes forever to apply patches with this mod.
