[OLD - new version in description] ES Vienna -Ion Battlecruiser by EuroSpace

All but a full on battleship, sitting at the heavier end of the cruiser spectrum, the ES Vienna is the largest proper Ion Kite by EuroSpace Industries. It features 16 Ion Beams feeding into 8 aiming outlet-prisms and strong forward- & reverse engines for good manuverability allowing it to engage at whatever distance the situation requires. Like on EuroSpace's other Ion Kites, the prism-batteries are protected by an exceptionally strong shield-neck with 5 large shields per side and a total of 30 point-defense guns. As anti-shield measures the Vienna attacks with repeated salvos of 6 EMP-missiles. Its features allow it to use several different tactics, including kiting, orbiting and drawing fire away from smaller vessels depending on the nature of the opposition.
