Yorik-et (Coralskipper) [Star Wars EU]

Featured in the New Jedi Order, the coralskipper (sometimes called skips) was made of yorik coral, hence the name yorik-et. As with all their technology, the ship was grown and was entirely organic. The pilot would connect to the cognition hood and receive instructions from the war coordinator (Yammosk) directing the battle.

In Star Wars, coralskippers were quite deadly. The dovil basals used to operate the ship could strip away shields of snubfighters and generate black holes to absorb enemy fire. The main weapon was a plasma cannon that melted enemy craft.

In this game, these features are not possible without extensive modding that I do not have time for. Therefore, to replicate the destructive power the main guns are replaced with assault cannons and missile launchers. The ship was built in creative mode and thus does not have effective life support, landing gear, or atmospheric controls (yet).

This was designed by a huge fan of the Star Wars Expanded Universe for fellow fans to use or take inspiration from. Constructive feedback is appreciated!


Edit: Mea culpa on my part and currently the only way to get in is to replace part of the roof with a block that allows you to see in. Better version will be made later.
