Description
INTRO
Hi everyone! This is the Godslayer aka Daniel overhaul. I was disappointed when he was introduced, because he looks like some kind of filler for future work. I didn’t want to wait, so decided to make Godslayer interesting to play. My main goal was to achieve an RPG-feeling during walkthrough.

First of all, I rebalanced his armory, literally all items. At second – reworked his “tech” aka skill tree to be more useful and various. At third – added many undivided features: from units to skills and global bonuses. Also improved monogod choices. And, finally, main change is in concept of dedication to gods. I made almost all items obtainable before choosing path and unlocked possibility to combine them, but after dedication you can get really unique items. Some of them are familiar to you (now you can crush monopoly of Valkia and Azazel), some was inspired by setting of WH FB. This change also allowed me to create many new sets of items for every taste. Maybe I even add something later.

Cherry on the cake – I tried to fix as much CA bugs as possible. All RoRs in updated roster now receive their bonuses, Khorne warhounds got their magic resistance back, all daemons now affected by daemons upkeep cost reduction and so on.

All this changes were present in first version of mod. But now it is time for new experience!

I proud to present you Godslayer Overhaul 2.0! This is enormous update that grown from 1.5 mb to 320+ mb. Now I feel that Godslayer campaign could be really fun and a lot more aesthetic. Update could be separated in three main blocks – visual changes, campaign overhaul and balance. Let’s start in that order.

VISUAL CHANGES
This is most weighted part of update, near every item was remade or resized and lots of unique designs were added. This forced me to also made 202 icons and 152 portholes for them too…but I handled it. Not ideal with my mediocre skills, but acceptable. Tons of minor changes: handles, aligning and resizes for shields; aligning grip for 2-handers (still weird models of swords with huge handle but it is because of vanilla animation that I can’t change due to lack of skill); rid of identical or almost identical designs; rid of horribly ugly designs (goodbye Nurgle sticks!) and more. Now I am sure that CA made Godslayer in a big hurry – so many fillers and stamped designs. I hope this is gone now. Some examples of visual changes you could see at screenshots.

CAMPAIGN OVERHAUL
First of all Godslayer now can use Unholy Manifestations and...yes, rifts! 3 new rifts were added on a campaign map - one in jungles of Lustria, one in frozen plains north of Naggarond, and one in the Warpstone Desert of Cathay. Also the South Wastes rift was moved a little easter. Be'lakor's rift were removed for 2 reasons: first - to prevent wiping him just right from start and second - because he can gain his first manifestation and so ability to open a rift after his first battle. Also you don’t have access to Be’lakor’s upgraded versions of manifestations (because you don’t have gifted troops) and can’t decrease cooldowns of them. We are not the Shadow Master after all. But in other hand we do not spend souls for gifts, so we can spend them for something more interesting in my opinion.

For example...for Horde Mechanic! Finally, my dream became true – now Godslayer have access to semi-horde mechanic similar to Vampire Coast. Only he can build horde, so with rifts and enough souls you can travel the world on your own and ruin it like Chaos Warriors in WH2. Also all your lords now have access to "raze and advance" occupation option similar to beastmen one.

Now mortal units are restricted to settlements. Godslayer's horde utilizes portals and can summon only daemons (for undivided lovers and mortal fans – you still can capture cities and build all that stuff there, but mortal creatures are absent in Chaos Realm). Also, horde can help with economy problems (some people mentioned it, but in my old playthrough I didn’t feel that I am poor, but…anyway). Main horde building and some unique buildings require not only a favour but also souls. So, choose wisely.

And one minor change - Khorne and Nurgle manifestations were buffed a little.

BALANCE
All items were reworked again alongside of adding new arsenal and armoury. Now you can really find something for your taste. Especially in expanded unique items sections. Greet brand new endgame unique mono-sets! I tried to maintain balance and add all new items in a small UI. So again, I was forced to add another 1k glory cap before dedication (so now it is 5k+) and rid of some dull designs.

Now Godslayer have access to 61 item sets. Not sure that all of them well-balanced, so things may change in near future - need a lot of testing. Because of overlapping items in different sets it could be not so easy to find all of them in UI. Old-school pixelhunting skills could help.

No more diplomatic buffs with WoC factions, but a -30 debuff. You are here to challenge Be’lakor and Archaon, ruin this world and claim godhood. But you can still receive buffs with Norsca (to help Yuri with Kislev after all) and daemonic
factions. But if you wish to make alliance with WoC - just try to do it with new debuff, I guess it is still achievable.

3.0 UPDATE
At last I finished it! New features and major changes:
1) Full undivided support - all roster, lords, heroes, 3 new building lines for any settlement.
2) Dedicated mortal lords and heroes. For new heroes you will need Mixer mod!
3) Warband upgrades including some new features.
4) Added 4 new nurgle designs and 1 new set, some sets were changed a bit.
5) Full Godslayer skill tree was reworked and standartized.
6) Some chaotic gifts (aka techs) were rebalanced, added support for some units.
7) New powerful units were locked behind glory (strange that it was not implemented by CA).
8) Fixed CA bug with 1/3 HP after recruitment for Nurgle units (fixed by CA in 5.1).

COMPATIBILITY
Since mod at last does not have any datacored tables I do not know what to expect from using global overhauls - feel free to investigate this. It should be compatible with skill overhauls and roster mods, but I don't know what behavior to expect (depends on mod load priority I guess). Visual mods that do not affect Daniel work.

Can you add path of glory mechanic to normal chaos lords and sorcerers? So that they could ascend into daemonhood like WoC can do

I love this mod, I just wish there was a way to recruit more than one Daemon Prince in a single campaign, as I wish I could have a couple armies decked out with these awesome new armory items.

I can second the error with exalted champions and sorcerers, not playing with any mods that change anything major.

im having a bit of an issue, rn i have max glory in everything and ive ascended to undivided with max glory there too but i cant recruit exalted champions or chaos sorcerers, i have the capacity and the skill unlocks in the glory tech tree but it just says that "no characters are currently available a new character will be available on the next turn" but on the next turn its the same thing. am i doing something wrong? pls help
