A faction consisting primarily of machine-life constructs that may or may not be considered unconventional.

Little is known about the origins of this so-called "superspecies" that goes by many names; among these is the questionable but agreed-upon moniker of "the StagClaw Consonance". What is known about the "superspecies", however, is that the bizarre entities associated with it often exhibit traits of both arthropoid lifeforms and machines. They seem to have been deliberately designed for combat, and also bear a seemingly human-rivaling intelligence. Even stranger, their designs continue to be redesigned and twisted into both familiar and utterly alien forms; however, it has been confirmed that this modification of the self and others now occurs not by the hands of their still unknown creator(s), but is instead conducted by their own appendages and improvised instrumentation. Fortunately, they are not particularly good at creating particularly effective designs yet .
