Fairground Island is a #mapcontest2022-entry by hgbf and Obscura. As per the contest rules, the map is built for 4-8 players, although may be possible to play with other player counts.

Karl the potato lived a peaceful life with friends and family in a small village called Morgenstund. He went about his work as a blacksmith and took pleasure in looking after his chicken farm in the evenings and at weekends.
But suddenly there was a rumour that witches had been seen near Morgenstund.
The landowner of Morgenstund and the surrounding area was alarmed. He sent the best men to snowbreeze to be trained in witch hunting.
Karl the Potato reluctantly left his family and especially his chicken farm behind!
The training in snowbreeze lasted a long time. All the future hunters learned all about witches, how the witches use mushrooms, what luaqs are. The hunters also had shooting training in the shooting range.
Karl also continues to work as a blacksmith in snowbreeze.
But the longer the long and merciless winter lasted, the sadder he became. There was no fun in snowbreeze, only cold and training. And all because of witches he himself had never seen before. Maybe it was all just a rumour?
He spoke to the other aspiring Hunters and they were no better.
So they came to a conclusion. One night, with their bags packed, they sneaked away, through a gap in the wall, back towards Morgenstund. On the way there, Karl had an idea of how to bring more joy back into his life. So they started to build tents, tracks ... in the end, "Rollercoster Island" was created, an amusement park for hunters and their families. The landowner was not happy about it, but approved.
So everyone enjoyed themselves on the caroussel, on the rollercoster, and food and drink were also provided.
But what was that? The one visitor back there. Her nose was too long, and the hat ... was that a witch? A witch, here in their amusement park?
