League of Ireland 9 Tier System

Description
****When using this database please select "Add players to playable teams". I don't have the resources to populate all the teams in the lower league system so this is necessary to ensure teams have enough players for a season.****

It is 2022 and Irish football is stagnating. Thirty years ago Ireland were ranked eighth in the world having reached the Quarter Finals of the World Cup in Italy in 1990, now they are thirty seventh with little to no signs of recovery. The reliance on English football to produce future stars of Irish football all but ended when future Irish prospects like Declan Rice and Jack Grealish switched allegiances to England after being capped at U21 level, and Rice even at senior level for Ireland. The FAI pleaded to the Irish Government to invest what they could in Irish football to make it competitive.
Those pleas have finally been heard. In a desperate attempt to make Irish football competitive again, the FAI reorganises the Irish League system into a four-tier professional system, with five non-professional tiers. Many teams in the First Division were given automatic promotion to the new eighteen-team SSE Airtricity League Premier Division. The relegation places in the Premier Division are increased from one to two, with a relegation playoff for the team who finishes sixteenth.
Seventy Two of the most reputable lower league teams in Ireland gain automatic spots spread between the Eir Pro League A and the Eir Pro League C. League A has two automatic promotion places, with the third decided by a playoff. The Pro Leagues have four automatic Relegation places each. Pro Leagues B and C have three automatic promotion places with the fourth decided by a playoff. Teams relegated from Pro League C drop into the Supervalu Senior Leagues.
The Supervalu Senior Leagues are a three-tier system of four league groups. A playoff decides which, if any, teams are promote from the Senior Leagues to the Pro Leagues. Teams relegated from Supervalu Senior League C drop into the Irish Amateur Leagues.
The Irish Amateur Leagues are a two-tier system of four groups each. Three teams are promoted from each group into the Supervalu Senior Leagues.
In addition to the new league formats the leagues follow the more standardised European format of starting the season in August and ending in May. The FAI approved generous funding from various TV stations to increase TV money going to teams in the hopes the extra funding would help the Semi-Professional teams to turn pro and become competitive themselves.

@twkirvine I’ve considered it, yeah, but I’d want to do it as a full United Ireland update. It’s a lot of work and I just haven’t had the focus for it atm

Hope you can port this over at some point, I couldn't leave it behind so i carried my save with Malahide over where I've now been dominating the premiership and I'm now trying to build a team good enough to challenge the champions league. The league is also ranked 6th now and the national team have made it in to the top 20

Is there any way of getting this on fm24? And if there an accompanying graphics pack? It was great on fm23, I’ll happily pay you to make it available on fm24
