In this guide I'll show you the best quick scoping loadout there is in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2.
Any feedback and/or suggestions are highly welcomed as these settings are my personal use.

The SP-X 80 (quick scoping)


This is in my opinion the best quick scoping class for snipers in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2.
Why? It's quick and has high damage from close to mid/long range. Though you have to keep in mind that if the enemy is quite far, let's say 100 meters, you will possibly need two shots.
  • Barrel: 22 5′ Elevate-11
  • Muzzle: FTAC Dreadnought
  • Lazer: FSS OLE-V
  • Stock: PVZ-890 TAC
  • Rear Grip: Schlager Match Grip
The MCPR-300 (long range)


The MCPR-300 is the best long-ranged sniper rifle in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 together with the Signal 50 as a close second. This class is designed for long-ranged kills and minimal damage loss. Shots at the upper body is 99% a one-shot which of course, you want.
  • Barrel: 22′ OMX-456
  • Muzzle: FTAC Reaper
  • Lazer: FSS OLE-V
  • Stock: Cronen Lion
  • 5 Round MAG or Long Range Scope
MCPR-300 (best sniper v2)
The MCPR-300 is a quick shooter but does not lack in damage or bullet velocity. Moreover, the MCPR-300 holds its ground over long distances, too, provided players account for bullet drop.

I believe kitting the MCPR-300 to be balanced in speed and damage is the optimum loadout. The attachments below were chosen to help you dominate with the MCPR-300 in medium to long ranges and allow quick follow-up shots. At least, that is what worked for me.
  • Barrel: 22- OMX-456
  • Muzzle: FTAC Dreadnought
  • Lazer: FSS OLE-V
  • Stock: FSS Merc Stock
  • Magazine: 5-Round MAG
The SIGNAL-50 (loadout)


As one of the harder-hitting sniper rifles in the game, the Ightmax Clear Shot is my optic of choice as you will want to sit back and shoot from a distance with it. This isn’t a weapon where you can dart around the map. You can be mobile, but you don’t want to opt for a run-and-gun play-style.

Similarly, the FSS Echo Stock helps out with the gun’s stability and recoil, which are key when you are picking off players. The Stalwart Grip, then allows you to stay on target with the weapon if you do happen to meet some resistance.

Next up is the barrel. We pick the 21.5″ Fluted Fifty. This boosts your bullet velocity and also helps with recoil control just that little bit, which is nice if you ever have to land a follow-up shot.
  • Receiver: Signal 50
