What is FOV?
How to change FOV?

To Change FOV in Modern Warfare 2: Go to Quick Settings, Scroll Down all the way to the bottom, and adjust the setting according to your personal preference.

Keep in mind that the FOV gets adjusted according to the resolution your game’s running in. Also, running the game on non-native resolution can make it look blurry which you do not want, and could lead to a bit of a weird feeling in your eyes.

How to fix the blurry and weird eyes feeling?
Please set your settings to these options:
  • On-Demand Texture Streaming: On
  • Allocate Texture Cache Size: Max
  • Enable Download Limits: Off
  • Streaming Quality: Normal
  • Motion Blur: Off

A little note to this is when ALT-TABBING out of your game. The game automatically changes these settings. When doing this your game could automatically doing the following:
  • The render resolution goes below 100
  • Overall settings dropping down to Low

The fix is simple; just go to settings > Quality > Render Resolution > Change it back to 100.
If this doesn’t take care of your problem, scroll all the way down and locate Film Grain under Post-Processing Effects. Change the Film Grain setting from 0.25 to 0. It is also recommended to turn off World Motion Blur and Weapon Motion Blur.

High vs Low FOV
When it comes to high vs low FOV in competitive games, there are pros and cons to both sides. On the one hand, high FOV gives you a wider view of the battlefield and can help you spot enemies more easily. On the other hand, low FOV can make it easier to track moving targets and focus on your crosshair.

Ultimately, the best FOV for you depends on your personal preferences and playing style. If you’re more concerned with spotting enemies early, high FOV is probably the way to go. However, if you prefer to have a more precise aim, a low FOV might be a better option. Whichever you choose, just remember that practice makes perfect!

The best type of setting in general is between 100 and 120. I'm playing on 110 as this fits perfectly for my eyes, I can see everything happening clearly without any lag and the whole movement of the screen goes quite smoothly.

You're also forgetting that the recoil control is easier if you're fov is higher. Whereas lower you will see that recoil and maybe struggle with it too.

I'd say 100 FOV is the sweet spot for those who get motion sickness from high FOV.

Highly depends on the eyes of the person. At least, that's what I have been told.

120 is the best FOV. The more you can see the better. Every con you can adapt too.
