Rimlord Armor

Description
Adds a new armor called Rimlord armor. This armor checks what other mods and DLC you have installed and combines the powers and costs of them into one ultimate, expensive, but not especially overpowered armor. If there's an armor you'd like to have added, let me know on the workshop page!

I was trying to decide what armor to give my sanguophage mechinator psycaster noble, and decided that I wanted something better than the available options, but still reasonably balanced. It's not about making an armor suit with overpowered stats, it's about combining the utility from different outfits into one suit. Enter the Rimlord Armor.

Rimlord armor, by default, has the defense stats of Cataphract armor from the Royalty DLC, in exchange for a great deal of research and additional manufacturing cost. It will have additional requirements depending on what other mods and DLC you have. I also recommend having some way of repairing it due to the cost; my preferred method is Vanilla Furniture Expanded: Spacer repair shelves.

This is a purely HTML mod and thus is most likely safe to add or remove mid-playthrough.

Supported mods and DLC:
Royalty (adds psychic bonuses like prestige armor)
Biotech (adds bandwidth bonuses like mechlord armor)
Odyssey (adds vacuum resistance like a vacsuit)
Sanguine Armor
Alpha Mechs (Mechbreaker armor)
Vanilla Expanded Psycasts (adds additional Eltex cost)
Vanilla Factions Expanded: Empire (suitable for nobility)

Costs (suit):
200 Plasteel
50 Uranium
20 Gold
8 Advanced Components
3 Hemogen Pack (if running Sanguine Armor)
2 Nanostructuring Chip (if running Biotech)
1 Powerfocus Chip (if running Biotech)
80 Hyperweave
1 Eltex (if running VE: Psycasts)
1 Stellar Processing Chip (if running Alpha Mechs)
1 Hyper Linkage Chip (if running Alpha Mechs)
1 Quantum Matrix Chip (if running Alpha Mechs)

Costs (helmet):
50 Plasteel
10 Gold
1 Advanced Component
1 Hemogen Pack (if running Sanguine Armor)
2 Nanostructuring Chip
25 Hyperweave
1 Eltex (if running VE: Psycasts)
1 Stellar Processing Chip (if running Alpha Mechs)
1 Hyper Linkage Chip (if running Alpha Mechs)

Grants:
Sharp and blunt protection of a Cataphract
Social impact of a royal crown
Marginally better durability than cataphract armor
Significant burn damage protection
Bandwidth of a Mechlord (if running Biotech)
Psychic bonuses of prestige armor (if running Royalty, keeps slight increase to sensitivity without Royalty)
Bandwidth of a Mechbreaker (if running Alpha Mechs)
Fire protection and hemogen gain (if running Sanguine Armor; note that this does not mitigate pyrophobia)

The burn protection will have very little effect on vanilla games, mostly just providing a reasonable measure of protection from Tesserons. It has a more noticeable affect on various modded space weapons such as lightsabers or laser guns; this should be in line with armor added by such mods (for reference, there was a mandalorian suit I saw that used the value I chose).

have you thought about boots or gloves for this mod?

no longer needed, installed the FrozenSnowFox Tweaks mod.

Very good question. I considered adding tox env resistance. Given that most pawns that would want this armor are likely to be running a lot of bionics, it seemed like it would be devaluing said bionics. I could be convinced otherwise, though - have you actually gotten such a super-pawn who didn't already have tox resist some other way?

no toxic environment resistance?

sanguophage mechinator psycaster noble? Wow, you sure put a lot of resources into one pawn, they must be hard to kill, and if they do die, well, that's a heavy blow, better have a backup revival option

Sweet I finished my no-dlc-required 1.6 rewrite. It now includes the bonuses of wearing a vacsuit, and also requires vacsuit research to be crafted. It also works without biotech or royalty but you'll be missing the mechanitor and psychic bonuses respectively.

The Altered Carbon armors don't really add anything. The Chrysalis armor adds a tiny amount of sharp armor in exchange for a tiny amount of heat armor, the Fusilier Armor gains a tiny amount of protection overall in exchange for a large speed penalty, and the Dragoon Armor is basically just a slightly better Recon Armor with an integrated jump pack. They're all very reasonably balanced but none of them seem to be appropriate for adding to this mod as they all are built as tradeoffs in general functionality rather than providing specialist functionality.

I could of course include an integrated jump pack or shield belt but I'd rather just leave the belt slot open and let players do as they wish. Including those things while also allowing for a belt slot would be stronger than I intend for this mod.

Could you add compatibility with the armors from Altered Carbon 2: Resleeved?
