Description
About:
There was something wrong with Hemogenic Pawns requiring food for survival.
This mod makes Hemogenic Pawns capable of getting by on just Hemogen Packs.

What this does:
  • BloodFeed used on Living Pawns provides 1.0 * BodySize worth of Food. (~100% of Vanilla)
  • BloodFeed used on Living Pawns now gives the Biter a +8 mood buff, which can stack 5 times.
  • Surgery to Extract Hemogen Packs no longer requires medicine, or anaesthetises the Pawn. (Now Vanilla Behaviour)
  • Hemogen Packs provide 1.0 nutrition. (100% of Vanilla)
  • Hemogen Packs now give Hemogenic Pawns a +4 mood buff.

Future Ideas?
  • Options for everything
  • Modify StackLimit Option
  • Hemogenic Pawns prefer/seek Hemogen Packs
  • Food makes Hemogenic Pawns sick. (Food Poisoning) + Options
  • Extracting HemogenPacks or BloodFeeding from sick pawns will transfer the sickness to the Patient/Biter

Is this mod presently being worked on for 1.5? Not trying to pressure and be one of those "Hey where is the 1.5 update already!!!" people, but wonder if the project is being actively worked vs potentially open for someone to try and make a fork/alternate version. Thank you....

I'm not sure if you're still planning to expand on this mod. But, I do know of two mod libraries for RimWorld that are supposed to make the addition of Mod Options to a mod a breeze:

XML Extensions has in their description: "Extends functionality of XML patch operations & allows for easy creation of Mod Options. This adds many new patch operations for modders to use. These operations are much more powerful and dynamic, and allow you to basically do programming in XML; you have access to if-statements, for-loops, mathematical operations, etc. Now you can easily create mod settings for your mod, all in XML!"

ToolBox (Continued) says, "XML based framework for making mod settings that allow changes to ThingDef"

I love this mod for Hegemonic Pawns, but I have a problem where pawns will only eat the Hemogen Packs if they were starving.

Not sure if this would be in scope of this mod or if it needs VSE attention - a blood-type alcohol or alcohols = bloodwine / bloodbeer, etc. This would also hit the hemogen and food gained hediffs, plus chemical satisfaction just like vanilla alcohol does and now your food options do. Would also lower consciousness levels and move and aim, so the drunken / coked up raider sanguophages can be appropriately ready for their oncoming event. That would also perhaps ameliorate the overpower that sanguophages might have vs. my naked brutality guy.
